Peter, the rock upon whom the church was built, was a coward

2020-12-20 07:08:46 UTC

@isoboto each of Jesus’ twelve original disciples were cowards

2020-12-20 07:09:06 UTC

I’m a coward

2020-12-20 07:09:08 UTC

true. but we did, too, no? we went against god's rule

2020-12-20 07:09:17 UTC

Yes we did

2020-12-20 07:09:49 UTC

How is the discussion going

2020-12-20 07:09:53 UTC

U should establish culpability too. Sometimes by mistake and sometimes on purpose.

2020-12-20 07:10:15 UTC

pretty good, i think?

2020-12-20 07:10:17 UTC

*the doors of hell are locked from the inside*

2020-12-20 07:10:24 UTC

Ok just checking in

2020-12-20 07:10:45 UTC

Jump in...were getting along famously. 🍻

2020-12-20 07:10:55 UTC

Lol

2020-12-20 07:11:03 UTC

fair. especially if you're coming from the perspective of "you should only accept his offering grace"

2020-12-20 07:11:40 UTC

We don’t actually know that satan was never offered redemption. We also know that satan is the root of sin and that what he did was a lot worse than what he did. There is actually one sin which is so bad that it will not be forgiven, maybe because those who commit this sin will never accept forgiveness or be capable of repentance. This may very well be the case with Lucifer and his demons

2020-12-20 07:11:48 UTC

apparently to a demonologist online satan doesn't even want me <:KEK:726877368601411624> i'm a lost soul

2020-12-20 07:12:00 UTC

Yup, he extends His hand...and all we need to do is grab on.

2020-12-20 07:12:02 UTC

I know

2020-12-20 07:12:41 UTC

ha. or maybe the sin is not accepting forgiveness itself

2020-12-20 07:13:07 UTC

reminds me of the drowning man who refused to take the helping hands lol 😂

2020-12-20 07:13:09 UTC

Baptism by water does nothing to cleanse you of your sins

2020-12-20 07:13:48 UTC

i meant, as in the "original sin"

2020-12-20 07:13:50 UTC

No the sin is “blaspheming against the Holy Spirit” however most people don’t even know what this means

2020-12-20 07:13:55 UTC

Yeah, that's a great analogy of purposely rejecting God.

2020-12-20 07:14:18 UTC

planning a (failed) coup against God is one 😂

2020-12-20 07:14:24 UTC

Why eles did he die on the cross?

2020-12-20 07:14:51 UTC

This may very well be the case, I wasn’t there at the time but I’ll know when I get to Heaven I think

2020-12-20 07:15:01 UTC

I already stated this

2020-12-20 07:15:20 UTC

i mean, we never actually know about it? the bible (at least the version i've), don't say the specific about the original sin aside from "the apple"

2020-12-20 07:15:33 UTC

By this, I know I’m going to Heaven but even when I’m there I might not figure out all the details

2020-12-20 07:15:53 UTC

No Jesus cleaned out dirty hands

2020-12-20 07:15:54 UTC

Please reference which message lol too many sent

2020-12-20 07:16:01 UTC

To open the gates of heaven. Heaven wasn't open for business before Jesus opened it. He also opened them for all the "heroes" of the old testament waiting in "limbo" (abraham's bossom).

2020-12-20 07:16:26 UTC

what do you do when you come to heaven, though? what do you become? a mindless spirit worshipping god? or free? how does heaven even works?

2020-12-20 07:16:41 UTC

Wait are you catholic?

2020-12-20 07:18:07 UTC

*if u love somebody, set them free*

2020-12-20 07:18:28 UTC

Is that why Elijah was tooken to heaven

2020-12-20 07:18:29 UTC

this was to an example somebody gave me that by dying jesus was paying our sins for us. my knowledge is that you can only go to heaven if you accept the saving grace, anyhow. and so jesus died only for some, while others (maybe, like me) that doesn't think jesus died for us is just still "kill" jesus anyway

2020-12-20 07:18:42 UTC

This is a brilliant question lol. It’s something I have thought about too. We don’t know what form we will necessarily take but we know that it will be perfect. This may mean that it will be something like what Adam and Eve originally were. Immortal and perfect with full potential. That said we know that we will be able to meet with other and that we will have homes. We know that we will be comforted and that we will be safe. Our existences will serve to glorify God through what we do. We will also likely literally praise God.

2020-12-20 07:18:54 UTC

no. i'm religiously homeless. i believe in a creator but not christian god specifically

2020-12-20 07:19:30 UTC

Sounds like your trying to buy a gift and are worried about buying the best gift. But your parents will be happy with the gift just because the gift is giving by their son.

2020-12-20 07:19:39 UTC

i was thinking of more the "pandora box" effect. maybe it's something we released in the perfect world god creates and thus we must pay
