No, you need the sous vide in order to hold it at the right temp

2020-10-26 20:08:32 UTC

Ah OK ty

2020-10-26 20:08:42 UTC

I'll look into it at some point

2020-10-26 20:11:23 UTC

@Toilet Hugger just found this, turns out you can cook sous vide without a machine just a little more difficult

https://www.chefsteps.com/activities/cook-sous-vide-tonight-stovetop-method

2020-10-26 20:15:15 UTC

I imagine the stove top method is easier with gas stove then traditional electric because traditional electric is more an on or off rather then a percent

2020-10-26 20:16:42 UTC

Yeah, you can’t control the heat as easily on electric

2020-10-26 20:18:03 UTC

In the article it looks like they’re using an electric stove though

2020-10-26 20:19:07 UTC

I saw that but thought it could be induction which, while I have no personal experience with, I think is supposed to be better for controlling tempetures.

2020-10-26 20:19:56 UTC

Could be, I haven’t researched induction enough to know if it’s better then traditional electric

2020-10-26 20:23:39 UTC

Oh cool

2020-10-26 20:23:57 UTC

Checking it out later

2020-10-26 20:24:22 UTC

Hmm.. Which bag of chips should I open... Barbecue or salt/vinegar

2020-10-26 20:25:05 UTC

What are you eating it with?

2020-10-26 20:25:38 UTC

Just raw as a snack

2020-10-26 20:25:57 UTC

Already went with barbecue xD guts decision

2020-10-26 20:26:21 UTC

Lol

2020-10-26 20:26:49 UTC

I was leaning that way anyway. The bolder flavor would hold it's own while the other will not overpower other foods.

2020-10-26 20:30:34 UTC

I just recently had salt vinegar for the first time. Apparently it's the "pineapple pizza" of chips. People either hate it or love it. But I really liked it so I bought them

2020-10-26 20:30:57 UTC

But my favorite chips flavor is probably honey/mustard

2020-10-26 20:31:16 UTC

It's not really my thing but it can work with somethings.

2020-10-26 20:32:35 UTC

I like the acidity

2020-10-26 20:34:01 UTC

I’ve only had them a couple of times, but I really liked them

2020-10-26 20:34:12 UTC

> I like the acidity
@Toilet Hugger Same here! My favorite 😋

2020-10-26 20:34:27 UTC

My default chip is a dorito though

2020-10-26 20:36:14 UTC

I like those too :) but I need a dip for them

2020-10-26 20:37:24 UTC

I’ve never dipped Doritos, I only dip regular potato chips

2020-10-26 20:38:46 UTC

Haha we opposites then

2020-10-26 20:44:38 UTC

Lol

2020-10-27 01:44:12 UTC

2020-10-27 12:37:50 UTC

I've never had sushi, but I don't want raw fish on pizza

2020-10-27 12:38:10 UTC

I'd rather have Eastern European pizza with ketchup
