Grass fed ribeye on the skillet
kosher salt was applied overnight to let it sink in. They call that wet aging? (I keep my steaks bagged when applying salt to absorb)
Gameplan Today:
Turn the skillet on, wait for olive oil to reach smoking point.
Fry steaks til their medium-well
Apply butter and rosemary for aroma & flavor
One of these days, I need to try some garlic

Question to steak lovers. Is there a difference in health benefits between grass and grain fed beef? I imagine it's very minuscule to worry about it.
I just know that with grass fed beef, it has a more robust mineral flavor.
This is what REAL mint chip looks like, not none of that garbage with green dye in it.
I've seen that picture on Google b4. Don't u dare try to fake
All I know is, adding olive oil to the pan instead of just butter is disgusting.
Might be very minuscule though.
Agreed
I start off with olive oil
Then I move to butter
Higher Smoking point and all
A Tortilla Burger π
why
I mean
I eat some pretty wierd stuff
That looks good! I don't think I would enjoy the lettuce & tomato on that. I would probably go for stuffed olives
Steak came out good, the problem was...the steak was larger than the pan so it cooked unevenly π
So that's the very tip, it came out well done. The middle was medium-well and the other end was medium
Oh mate, it was for someone who didn't know what a Deep Dish was.
Sorry.
That wasn't what I was trying to do.
Itβs Spinach, Tomatoes and Avocado
oh, I like spinach MUCH more than lettuce. Not a fan of lettuce at all. More dense.
Yeah lettuce has almost no flavor or nutritional value I always use Spinach in place of lettuce. ππ»
π I eat power greens (spinach/kale/chard) and ginger root before I go to bed. Good for the metabolism
I love cooking with clarified or brown butter. Just makes everything taste so good π₯°
I'm making bean sprouts
Interesting
Trying out to make ramen tonight

Looks good!! Smoking some bacon with a lavender rub tonight, hope it turns out well π
That sounds nice as well :D
Lavender rub sounds curious
