I am going to cook it at 300 deg. For 45 minutes.

Then I roll the Roast over and turn the pan 180 to insure even cooking.
I’m going to let it go for another 45 minutes at 300 and check it with a thermometer.

I ended up cooking it at 300 for an additional 40 minutes to get the desired internal temperature to 140-150.
So total cook time was.
About 2 hours 10 minutes.

gonna make some burgers today, anybody have some recommendations on what to do with the beef? kind of want to experiment with some other ideas. just got some normal 80-20 beef, gonna cook it on the stove/pan because I dont have a grill.

slice it thinly, cook lightly in stove with olive oil and eat with real wasabi, salt and nothing else

What like how to season the beef?

I've been using my kitchen pepper a lot on beef. The recipe is pinned from sometime in August. It's a pretty mild seasoning though. May not be up your alley

Thanks I use many different seasonings.
I have a lot of recipes, some are family recipes others I have collected in my travels.
And some I make up as I go along. I also try some that are recommended to me because they sound good.

It's got to be hard in Alaska to get stuff. Are you near a city?

I was born here so I’m used to it. Yeah I live about 40 miles from a city of about 30,000 so I have access to modern convinces.
But ordering things and having them shipped up here is just a way of life.
