Jazz resulted from Blacks playing White music on White instruments hoping to impress Whites and cop some bucks. Until about 1950 Jazz was as much a White style as a Black style, and with all musical forms, Whites did it better. In the 60s Blacks began to care much, much less about impressing Whites because they believed the Leftist lies that Blacks were superior to Whites. Now we have the neoJungle reversion to the mean that is rap and hip hop. Whites only liked Black music in the past because it was simply White music with a bit of difference. Whites have historically been totally open to the new and different. Unless it is total garbage like rap and hip hop.

@OMGDwayne I disagree, a bit. Jazz is a mostly cross-cultural invention - and that's okay. I am a big fan of Duke Ellington.

Also post 1950's it's only gotten MORE white especially in the last 40 years or so.
