oh yea i almost forgot to tell you @Shalom , I went Gideon again when I went out to the coast and destroyed another worthless idol and even desecrated a very famous pagan temple
the idol was one of the disgusting buddha idols. The boys had cut its head off a statue, and stole it to try to turn it into a lawn ornament. So seeing their foolish transgression in trying to take possession of this worthless false god, I took the idol's head in my hands and said "the rock of my God is stronger than this false god of rock" and then i dropped the buddha idol on a stone and its face broke off and fell into a pond
to which I said "you are not a god, praise Jesus"

@Japheth You compared yourself to Gideon. Gideon requested proof of God's will before going on his mission. So that's why I ask, did God give you miracles? Destroying a decorative figure in itself does nothing to turn people toward God. After all, God told Gideon to build a new alter to replace the false one. Based on what you've said, it sounds like you just destroyed someone's property in God's name, and not out of love, but anger and self-superiority.
@DBMedia God is very clear that you are not make, possess, nor worship idols. It is even the first commandment to worship none of the false gods. It is commanded by God to destroy the idols of the false gods.

as for Gideon, yes he did ask for a miracle, but this is because his faith was somewhat weak. You do not need a miracle nor a sign to do what God has commanded, and one must even beware of this for it may be tempting the Lord, which is foolishness when he made such a commandment plainly clear via direct statement, the example of good men that loved God destroying the idols (Gideon, Elijah, Josiah, etc.), and even the example of the evil men that hated God and turned to idols
