right
yea i feel bad for the kid. just getting jerked around by wood and pierce
milking him for all he's worth
is pierce still in?
I thought he was out
I think he just stepped out of managing the #FightBack foundation or w/e it's called. He's still on the case
And just filled for a . . . I forget what the official Latin name is
translates to "on this occasion"
filed a petition for the Wisconsin court to allow him to practice in Wisconsin for the sake of this case even though he is not licensed to practice in that state.
Aka "I have no clue what I'm doing, your honor, but please let me do it anyways."
haha, yes
🤪
Kyle would be better off with just his Wisconsin lawyer representing him and not this Lin Wood / John Pierce sideshow. But, hey, what do I know? I'm not a lawyer. 😛
We just like to listen to them 😂
Pro hac vice
Thank you, aiva.
ouch
Please, for the love of God, Lin Wood, do not try and take over Kyle's case.
I'd be inclined to think he's some sort of undercover prosecutor if he did that.
I'd be on that conspiracy bandwagon so fast.
If he's accepted he absolutely can from my understanding.
You can file motions for change of counsel, assuming this motion to grant the ability to practice in the state somehow goes through. (I pray it doesn't)
I surely hope Kyle is receiving legal help from people besides Lin Wood so he knows when his counsel is being ridiculous.
I can only imagine he is.
On a scale of 0 to 10 for how much I trust Lin Wood to see this case through in the best interest of Kyle, I'm sitting around a 2.
My default for public defenders is 5.
Prosecutors are 0 by default.
The fact I trust a public defender more than I do Mr. Wood should speak volumes.
His "professional demeanor" is a hard negative in the interest of Kyle.
Wood is afflicted with Avenattitis.
Pierce tried to file a writ of habeas corpus.
(In fact, he did file)
Pierce is primarily known for corporate litigation.
Mostly civil law from my understanding.
He's not a defense attorney.
I may have gotten mixed up with Wood and Pierce's names, but the idea is the same.
Let defense attorneys handle this, please, for the love of God.
No more ridiculous circa eighteenth/nineteenth century defenses.
yea
