Who gets Rittenhouse's $2 million bail when it is returned at the end of the court case?
Some opportunists, I reckon.
not sure how that works, tbh
Mr. Pillow and Mr.Shrader would get some.
@neilcampbell Whoever paid it.
Remember, there are companies that exclusively pay bonds for people.
They're either well-intentioned people or very predatory from my understanding.
As you could imagine the business model.
Does WI allow loans for bonds?
He may have had to put up the entire amount
He had well over the 2m support from crowdfunding.
I'm sure Wood is eying that prize money lol
@realz, you just advanced to level 15!
Have to put up the whole amount of bond money according tp Barnes
Yea I thought I remembered that too
But I wasn't sure if that was Illinois or Wisconsin
yea, some states let you put up 10% I think
Ricky Schroeder from Silver Spoons (old 80's sitcom) posted "from what I've heard" posted a lot of the bail.
@Neph (Nec) / Krystaps (War). The difference is a Security or Cash Bond.
late with this
"Binger alleges that Pierce has also used Twitter to attack the character of Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley.
“He has called for DA Graveley to be recalled by voters and accused him of being tied to George Soros, a billionaire philanthropist who is regularly accused by conservatives of financing various nefarious global plots,” the motion states."
@Neph (Nec) / Krystaps (War), you just advanced to level 3!
only....
even Politico acknowledges that Soros has been splashing the cash lately to elect local DAs in his image
this isn't some conservative conspiracy
unless Politico is a secret cover for Breitbart or The Daily Caller
it should be relatively easy to figure out whether or not Soros put up the bucks for Graveley
The ability to buy stuff if you are rich is hardly a conpiracy theory. Or unexpected.
The chimps that can aquire most meat are also powerful influencers over other chimps.
this being said
i haven't seen any evidence yet that Soros put up money for THIS DA's election.
However, his prosecutorial history does fit the bill for the type of attorney that Soros would bankroll
> But I wasn't sure if that was Illinois or Wisconsin
@realz
From memory, Illinois had no bail available at all. Hence another point of frustration as to why his attorneys were trying to keep him there.
right
yea i feel bad for the kid. just getting jerked around by wood and pierce
milking him for all he's worth
is pierce still in?
