Its america. They hang horse thieves and write songs about gunfighters. I, personally, find it refreshing.

2020-11-23 19:16:14 UTC

Yea, Mati. The court system in The Bronx, specifically, is so dysfunctional that it beggars belief.

2020-11-24 13:54:34 UTC

Who gets Rittenhouse's $2 million bail when it is returned at the end of the court case?

2020-11-24 14:24:12 UTC

Some opportunists, I reckon.

2020-11-24 14:36:16 UTC

not sure how that works, tbh

2020-11-24 14:37:37 UTC

Mr. Pillow and Mr.Shrader would get some.

2020-11-24 15:32:29 UTC

@neilcampbell Whoever paid it.

2020-11-24 15:32:55 UTC

Remember, there are companies that exclusively pay bonds for people.

2020-11-24 15:33:19 UTC

They're either well-intentioned people or very predatory from my understanding.

2020-11-24 15:33:30 UTC

As you could imagine the business model.

2020-11-24 17:08:56 UTC

Does WI allow loans for bonds?

2020-11-24 17:09:09 UTC

He may have had to put up the entire amount

2020-11-24 17:24:52 UTC

He had well over the 2m support from crowdfunding.

2020-11-24 17:38:52 UTC

I'm sure Wood is eying that prize money lol

2020-11-24 17:38:52 UTC

@realz, you just advanced to level 15!

2020-11-24 17:39:25 UTC

Have to put up the whole amount of bond money according tp Barnes

2020-11-24 17:43:33 UTC

Yea I thought I remembered that too

2020-11-24 17:43:44 UTC

But I wasn't sure if that was Illinois or Wisconsin

2020-11-24 18:04:20 UTC

yea, some states let you put up 10% I think

2020-11-24 21:51:03 UTC

Ricky Schroeder from Silver Spoons (old 80's sitcom) posted "from what I've heard" posted a lot of the bail.

2020-11-24 22:07:00 UTC

@Neph (Nec) / Krystaps (War). The difference is a Security or Cash Bond.

2020-11-24 23:43:23 UTC

late with this

2020-11-25 00:41:35 UTC

"Binger alleges that Pierce has also used Twitter to attack the character of Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley.

“He has called for DA Graveley to be recalled by voters and accused him of being tied to George Soros, a billionaire philanthropist who is regularly accused by conservatives of financing various nefarious global plots,” the motion states."

2020-11-25 00:41:36 UTC

@Neph (Nec) / Krystaps (War), you just advanced to level 3!

2020-11-25 00:41:39 UTC

only....

2020-11-25 00:41:54 UTC

even Politico acknowledges that Soros has been splashing the cash lately to elect local DAs in his image

2020-11-25 00:42:41 UTC

this isn't some conservative conspiracy

2020-11-25 00:42:55 UTC

unless Politico is a secret cover for Breitbart or The Daily Caller

2020-11-25 00:43:31 UTC

it should be relatively easy to figure out whether or not Soros put up the bucks for Graveley

2020-11-25 00:54:00 UTC

The ability to buy stuff if you are rich is hardly a conpiracy theory. Or unexpected.

2020-11-25 00:54:27 UTC

The chimps that can aquire most meat are also powerful influencers over other chimps.

2020-11-25 01:07:12 UTC

this being said

2020-11-25 01:07:32 UTC

i haven't seen any evidence yet that Soros put up money for THIS DA's election.

2020-11-25 01:07:57 UTC

However, his prosecutorial history does fit the bill for the type of attorney that Soros would bankroll

2020-11-25 02:18:09 UTC

> But I wasn't sure if that was Illinois or Wisconsin
@realz
From memory, Illinois had no bail available at all. Hence another point of frustration as to why his attorneys were trying to keep him there.

2020-11-25 02:21:22 UTC

right

2020-11-25 02:29:00 UTC
