159 counties seems way to low to converge to some kind of magic rule like that

2020-11-09 22:56:23 UTC

Actually when I get to my computer I will write a program with 159 random numbers

2020-11-09 22:56:29 UTC

And we'll see

2020-11-09 22:59:52 UTC

Well his data is the number of votes in those 159 counties. So his data set is larger than 159. @realz

2020-11-09 23:00:07 UTC

It's 159 numbers

2020-11-09 23:00:41 UTC

Running benfords law on 159 numbers you would not expect to see such a smooth curve imo

2020-11-09 23:01:03 UTC

Maybe if it is broken down into something smaller than counties

2020-11-09 23:01:30 UTC

But then he'd have a magnitude problem because benfords law only works with numbers that vary over many orders of magnitude

2020-11-09 23:01:52 UTC

Either way I doubt that data is available but who knows

2020-11-09 23:02:10 UTC

Either way I'm certain his claim is over 159 samples (numbers)

2020-11-09 23:04:26 UTC

Ya i see. More data would be ideal

I've seen Biden Supporters on github working the data various ways and every time they apply benford's law the only irregularity is with Biden's votes

2020-11-09 23:37:28 UTC

Jorgeson, Trump no one elses show the same irregularities

@TacitusKilgore
Can you provide the links to some examples I'd love to share this with my software engineering leadership they are interested

2020-11-10 00:46:30 UTC

someone have a link to the affidavit in the show?

2020-11-10 00:50:24 UTC

White House Press secretary kayleigh mcenany???? tonight did you see it? not any MSM and they attacked her! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0V2CYVJJyQ

2020-11-10 01:13:56 UTC

I saw it on Right Side Broadcasting

2020-11-10 01:15:13 UTC

Also, about Benford's Law, I'd be interested in seeing it applied to like the 2016 or 2012 presidential elections and comparing that to the 2020 presidential election

2020-11-10 01:22:11 UTC

Do you have a link @daddy Kevin ??? only place i could find it

2020-11-10 01:27:13 UTC

yup

2020-11-10 01:52:40 UTC

@Elias Diaz so I have a program

2020-11-10 01:53:16 UTC

a note; with a uniform random distribution, the shape of the histogram is highly dependent on what the maximum number is (which actually makes sense)

2020-11-10 01:53:41 UTC

with a normal distribution I get Benford's law

2020-11-10 01:53:49 UTC

and it does not converge great

2020-11-10 01:53:53 UTC

lemme see if I can make a gif

2020-11-10 01:55:02 UTC

naw just read the book by John Reed that was banned in the USA 60yrs

2020-11-10 02:00:24 UTC

Red Illinois. Surreal.

2020-11-10 02:01:04 UTC

500 samples, a bunch of instances of benford's law

2020-11-10 02:01:18 UTC

159 samples

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/771201221145919499/775540559989047306/benford-159-samples.gif

2020-11-10 02:01:47 UTC

both of these are using normally distributed numbers between 0 and 19000000

2020-11-10 02:02:46 UTC

It def seemed like a million or more votes were cheated in @realz

2020-11-10 02:03:02 UTC

how would we know?

2020-11-10 02:03:19 UTC

I was just showing evidence that benford's law is dubious with such a low number of samples

2020-11-10 02:04:23 UTC

Sadly,we may not but it dosnt need to be shown on that large of a level. All that needs to happen like rob said is 10's of thousands

2020-11-10 02:05:16 UTC

if you can prove it

2020-11-10 02:05:59 UTC

@realz I believe thats already in the bag honestly
