The goal of both sides is power. Trump won the election and did so without selling his sole to the power brokers in Washington. That was unacceptible.

Republicans jump in the line of fire to defend things Trump does which are sometimes indefensible.

It doesn't change the fact that there were meetings between the Trump campaign and Russians that were not reported as required by law. I find all this to be BS. The senate isn't just some compromise, it is what allowed the union to grow. Why would any small state want to join a union where there is a correlated disparity in ideologies that results in some massive ideological group far away to dictate local rules?

Judicial activism is against the founders intent

The move to make DC a state is a move by the democrat party to solidify such an advanced position ahead of republicans that it means there is basically a one-party system.
