People did vote for Trump and think they're baseless.

2020-11-22 23:06:43 UTC

_COUGH._

2020-11-22 23:06:47 UTC

It's beyond grasping at straws, at this point. It's not even contortions. It's convulsions.

2020-11-22 23:06:55 UTC

@GregInHouston2 I understand being pressured to be quick, but this was egregious. The folks doing the analysis wanted so badly for there to be malfeasance that they didn't even bother to doublecheck their work when there was a crazy discrepancy and included it in a lawsuit. That demonstrates an extreme bias on the part of the ones doing the analysis. That's ok for pundit, but not analysts. If the goal is to find the truth, you assume it's right and when it is not, you try to determine exactly why it is not.

2020-11-22 23:07:54 UTC

@james j No, people like you are slowing it down. Pull the ballots and examine them. Start with 100. If the prove legit then we can stop. Takes less than a day.

2020-11-22 23:08:36 UTC

You are the one alluding there was fraud baselessly demanding recounts because your guy lost. How are people like me slowing done anything @GregInHouston2

2020-11-22 23:09:17 UTC

I agree there. Two wrongs don’t make a right

2020-11-22 23:10:15 UTC

@james j Then demand the check. If the ballots are legit then your guy is legit. Fail to do it and your guy is not legit. Simple as that.

2020-11-22 23:10:15 UTC

@GregInHouston2, you just advanced to level 8!

2020-11-22 23:10:37 UTC

That's... really not how it works though.

2020-11-22 23:10:42 UTC

I'm not against recounts.

2020-11-22 23:10:58 UTC

That's not how the burden of proof works and no one is obstructing anything.

2020-11-22 23:10:59 UTC

But even recounts are just being discarded by people saying they're invalid now.

2020-11-22 23:11:11 UTC

When does it end?

2020-11-22 23:11:23 UTC

Exactly

2020-11-22 23:11:57 UTC

I type way too slowly.

2020-11-22 23:12:05 UTC

For this chat

2020-11-22 23:13:05 UTC

@james j You remind me of Bush in 2000. Halt the recount until we figure it out legally. Okay, we've figured it out but too late! Deadline is here and the recount cannot finish on time.

2020-11-22 23:13:14 UTC

@GregInHouston2 that’s a made up standard you are only setting because you are convinced there was fraud. I am familiar with the story about perfectly computer filled ballots. It’s was off a affidavit that trump lawyers can’t even say is true. It’s a baseless claim meant slow down the election. After that’s disproven you and the trump team will just come up with something else. Again all this has been argued in court and thrown out. The affidavits are nonsense and the trump lawyers even admit it https://lawandcrime.com/2020-election/trump-campaign-lawyer-admits-to-judge-our-search-for-evidence-of-fraud-produced-obvious-lies-and-spam/

2020-11-22 23:14:54 UTC

Trump has been telling the world almost every single day for as long as I can remember that the election was going to be rigged. He could have come out and say "I fear that the election is going to be rigged, but here is how we are going to make sure that it is not. We are going to count every vote. But if you think you can game the system, we will know and we will find you." Instead he whined and whined. He said it so much that it is a forgone conclusion in his supporters minds. So you are right, we need to make sure that those who want desperately for it to be true can be reasonably certain that it was a fair election. It's just not fair when his supporters keep moving the believability goal posts. The GA recount should have put any idea of SW vote switching to rest. Now it's check the ink. Next it will be let's dust for fingerprints. When is it enough?

2020-11-22 23:15:06 UTC

The AZ suit with the affidavit legitimacy rationale was hilarious.

2020-11-22 23:15:23 UTC

Georgia did multiple recounts, and then when Trump was still behind, it's "it's still invalid" and again the certification is deemed invalid. Like, for real, when does it end?

2020-11-22 23:16:21 UTC

I've stated what I want to happen. If not then Biden is not the legitimate winner. You don't want it to happen because you KNOW what the result will be.

2020-11-22 23:17:05 UTC

It doesn't end. Eventually they will need to be left behind. There is literally no chance of convincing them, barring God himself...And they would cancel Him too.

2020-11-22 23:17:09 UTC

Quick forewarning, my candidate lost this election in my opinion, so this argument of I want Biden in office won't work on me.

2020-11-22 23:17:20 UTC

If I were GA Sec of State for the day, I would invite you to GA voting central and walk you in myself to look at all the ballots you want.

2020-11-22 23:17:25 UTC

Ok well then trump is an illegitimate president because no one checked if his ballots were marked by a computer in 2016, he should be removed from office until proven otherwise @GregInHouston2

2020-11-22 23:17:59 UTC

Same logic

2020-11-22 23:18:59 UTC

The downside to all this is that we are probably doomed to going through this every 4 years if nothing changes. Transitions will not start until after the EC meets, all close races will be contested ad nauseum.

2020-11-22 23:19:29 UTC

Honestly, wouldn't bother me

2020-11-22 23:19:44 UTC

Again, if the Trump team cannot prove large-scale election fraud by December, we're not going to halt the entire country for years like the democrats tried to do in 2016.

2020-11-22 23:19:44 UTC

People might learn a bit more about how the President is elected

2020-11-22 23:19:45 UTC

Exactly every losing candidate will use the same tactic if they have the house. Just flood the courts with nonsense and then make the house decide in your favor. @TaLoN132

2020-11-22 23:20:38 UTC

'I need proof of the fraud of which I'm already immutably convinced in order to have faith in elections.' Prepare to be taken seriously.

2020-11-22 23:20:46 UTC

Honestly the best part about this is all of the conspiracy theories I'm gonna be able to find on Bitchute afterwards

2020-11-22 23:20:58 UTC

People have learned how to abuse the system and make voting pointless unless you have the house @Elzam

2020-11-22 23:21:10 UTC

@Elzam I do see the upside... I get to converse with all of you fine people.

2020-11-22 23:21:19 UTC

Awww

2020-11-22 23:21:28 UTC

Hopefully about topics unrelated to politics.

2020-11-22 23:21:37 UTC

@Zuluzeit Here is a thought. Did only democrats cheat? Are they immorally inferior to republicans? If no, would not the cheating cancel out?

2020-11-22 23:21:55 UTC

Not just the house... a majority on representatives in more states.
