I think there was some case where they claimed their observers weren't there but I think court's response was that they had to show observers had tried to do their job and weren't allowed to do so ... the counting of votes must let observers in but they don't have to wait for the observers to show up

there have been some court wins where the distance the observers had to stand away from the voter counters was changed from 25 feet to 6 feet

allegedly from some of the most populous precincts in a coordinated manner, for which there would be strong evidence (one of Giuliani's 3 cases)

enough to flip the election

but as I said before, it's dubious that the courts will have what it takes to enforce that, regardless how strong the case

and so far the cases have been very weak

This is what I'd call distancing based on unknown variables.

The two poll workers are wearing proper PPE equipment, the folks on the left are far more relaxed in their choice of PPE, to the point where one of them has basically taken off their mask entirely.

All the poll workers appear to be wearing better masks known to work better at stopping transmission and wearing them properly.
