"Why, yes I do!"

2020-11-27 03:21:49 UTC

Rapid test. Might show a false negative. Reason why pcr is better

2020-11-27 03:21:56 UTC

no, left nostril

2020-11-27 03:21:57 UTC

Oh I meant from the cdc @Doc

2020-11-27 03:22:12 UTC

@james j The CDC is keeping the left nostril thing a secret.

2020-11-27 03:22:44 UTC

one fears that if it is public knowledge, people will stop using them.

2020-11-27 03:23:46 UTC

I mean about the enterovirus

2020-11-27 03:23:54 UTC

which one?

2020-11-27 03:23:58 UTC

Erykah Badu. Wow. If I had an eternity to list every person I have ever heard of, she would have been close to the last, at like 43,000,000,000,000,000-ish years.

2020-11-27 03:24:46 UTC

Covid being an enterovirus and that it’s main way of transmission is through the intestines @Doc

2020-11-27 03:25:49 UTC

@james j that was based on me thinking a virus being the same thing as nuclear fallout. Luckily you corrected me on that.

2020-11-27 03:26:54 UTC

they should have that as a topic in medschool. "Virii - not fallout" so that we can avoid this kind of confusion.

2020-11-27 03:26:58 UTC

Omg, the point of user error and people touching their face or whatever is not something people can’t overcome

2020-11-27 03:27:09 UTC

Note to self: Invent intestinal sheaths.

2020-11-27 03:27:45 UTC

The more interesting claim is that the respiratory droplets are not the primary way it’s spread

2020-11-27 03:28:32 UTC

I am fine with not being sprayed with saliva, covid-ridden or otherwise. Nasty.

2020-11-27 03:29:10 UTC

If it proves to be a solid 6-3 majority and it begins to disenfranchise the left - keeping in mind that 7 of the last 8 presidential elections have won the popular vote - adding 2 justices would not threaten the conservative majority. There is a risk of it becoming even more conservative, I guess. Sorry for the delay - cooking at the same time.

2020-11-27 03:29:19 UTC

@james j turns out my education is flawed. I no longer feel comfortable communicating medical stuff. I think you should do it in stead.

2020-11-27 03:29:20 UTC

@Doc, you just advanced to level 19!

2020-11-27 03:29:40 UTC

This is a odd thing to not explain

2020-11-27 03:30:07 UTC

I have not heard this anywhere except on some YouTube videos claiming covid spreads thought farts

2020-11-27 03:30:26 UTC

To be fair, it's like 5.5/3.5.

2020-11-27 03:31:14 UTC

well, see it from my point of view for a minute will you? I have been through 5 years of biology and biochemistry, 6 years of med school, two internships and two specialties, worked for 20 years as an MD, and I have made this massive error of thinking a virus is the same thing as nuclear fallout. Can you really blame me for being shaken to my core? @james j

2020-11-27 03:31:48 UTC

Even if it did that does not mean it doesn’t spread though respiratory droplets . We spend more time talking to each other than farting on each other

2020-11-27 03:31:58 UTC

Roberts's head is in the game but his heart loves some of that sweet, sweet Sotomayor approval.

2020-11-27 03:32:07 UTC

@james j I cant think. Too unsure of myself.

2020-11-27 03:32:10 UTC

@Doc well just provide a up to date link if your don’t want to explain.

2020-11-27 03:32:16 UTC

Hey, @Doc... do you have any concerns about the mRNA based vaccines and the fact that they have never been used in humans and we only have 5 months of data and no idea of the potential long term effects? Oh yeah... we're about to put them in potentially hundreds of millions of people.

2020-11-27 03:32:36 UTC

@james j I keep googling covid fallout and only getting game references now. My brain is shutting down.

2020-11-27 03:33:19 UTC

@TaLoN132 Yes. The mRNA has been, to some extent, used in neurology in the treatment of MS, and the prevalence of autoimmunity is through the roof.

2020-11-27 03:33:45 UTC

But that is in the northern european population.

2020-11-27 03:34:00 UTC

They have been clever enough to avoid Caucasians in the trials.

2020-11-27 03:34:16 UTC

(caucasians = much higher probability of autoimmune disease)

2020-11-27 03:34:27 UTC

I'll take one of those vaccines. Fuggum. Just killing time anyway.

2020-11-27 03:34:39 UTC

and your thyroid.

2020-11-27 03:35:26 UTC

did a kracken drop?

2020-11-27 03:35:44 UTC

Is there a timeframe of when you will not feel the need to cite the nuclear fall out thing? So I can get that citation @Doc

2020-11-27 03:36:11 UTC

@james j I'm sorry James. This conversation can serve no purpose any longer.
