Absolutely

2020-11-27 06:44:15 UTC

I’m sick of the tyranny of small states

2020-11-27 06:44:35 UTC

The tyranny of small states is "don't tell us what to do"

2020-11-27 06:44:44 UTC

It does federally

2020-11-27 06:44:46 UTC

That's not tyranny m8

2020-11-27 06:46:29 UTC

Well because of smaller states progress Is constantly hindered. Most populous states would have a robust low cost to free at point of sale health care, better education systems, low to free at point of sale, taxes would be higher but that wouldn’t really bother me

2020-11-27 06:46:46 UTC

What do you mean you. I'm from NY

2020-11-27 06:46:58 UTC

City or state

2020-11-27 06:47:33 UTC

Most ny counties are red

2020-11-27 06:47:36 UTC

Your state can increase taxes

2020-11-27 06:47:43 UTC

There's nothing stopping it

2020-11-27 06:47:44 UTC

But where most people live it’s blue

2020-11-27 06:47:53 UTC

Im from Queens

2020-11-27 06:48:19 UTC

Your state has all the power to tax and run its education and whatnot

2020-11-27 06:48:44 UTC

@DrSammyD I have the full svg, it is viewable in chrome, and I've labeled it with ratios

2020-11-27 06:48:54 UTC

I think there are pretty good programs in ny , I know there is in North Carolina

2020-11-27 06:48:57 UTC

CA wanted to do universal healthcare but asked the feds to subsidize it

2020-11-27 06:49:22 UTC

Fifth largest economy in the world they should get it

2020-11-27 06:49:36 UTC

Along with everyone else

2020-11-27 06:49:37 UTC

@DrSammyD lemme know if you care to have any of this

2020-11-27 06:49:39 UTC

Why can CA not pay for their own healthcare

2020-11-27 06:49:57 UTC

Why is CA asking NY to pay

2020-11-27 06:50:16 UTC

Because it would make the overall cost cheaper

2020-11-27 06:50:25 UTC

If the fifth largest economy cannot afford it

2020-11-27 06:50:29 UTC

For all parties involved

2020-11-27 06:50:45 UTC

You still want to take the most economic route

2020-11-27 06:50:53 UTC

If the overall cost is cheaper, why can't CA take the money they're spending now, universal healthcare, save money

2020-11-27 06:51:02 UTC

Why do they want to ask NY to pay

2020-11-27 06:51:31 UTC

@DrSammyD maybe it is suspicious; the ratios for whatever reason seem to converge a lot on certain times (the vertical blotches); though it might just be a dump where a lot of reportings happen to come in at the same time

2020-11-27 06:51:32 UTC

Well in this scenario ny would also benefit if it’s federal

2020-11-27 06:51:59 UTC

No no. CA earlier tried to independently go universal healthcare

2020-11-27 06:52:07 UTC

They asked the fed to foot the bill

2020-11-27 06:53:03 UTC

I will never ever forget the Starcraft Dominion Conspiracy though

2020-11-27 06:54:55 UTC

It says here they would not be granted a federal waiver @Elzam

2020-11-27 06:55:06 UTC

I need to see what this waver is about

2020-11-27 06:55:19 UTC

Universal healthcare, or any significant social welfare, is unworkable with open borders. The US has so far open borders internally, and recently it has had pretty porous borders to the South.

2020-11-27 06:55:32 UTC

Nah

2020-11-27 06:55:40 UTC

The UKs NHS is suffering the same problem

2020-11-27 06:55:48 UTC

Open boarders isn’t something we even have

2020-11-27 06:56:00 UTC

we do have the same problem in the UK

2020-11-27 06:56:20 UTC

which is one of the reasons why the NHS is garbage despite all the propaganda
