I mean he might have a team PhD engineer from Stanford for all I know.

2020-12-01 03:43:50 UTC

I mean dominion is also biased but they can at least refute the claims and explain why they dont think it would work. Kreps wasnt biased at all and they worked with the various companies to ensure a standard was met for voting machines.

2020-12-01 03:44:04 UTC

Or ga tech

2020-12-01 03:44:57 UTC

@Dedkraken I think part of it could be the sketched out self serve absentee ballot software

2020-12-01 03:45:16 UTC

One of the witnesses said they had white out tape over the number part on the ballot. Kicked them out to be put in manually later...

2020-12-01 03:45:18 UTC

Dude just strikes me as a jackass

2020-12-01 03:45:25 UTC

MIT is just the Georgia Tech of the north

2020-12-01 03:46:11 UTC

Numbers game just like the Covid cases.

2020-12-01 03:46:21 UTC

@Zuluzeit I think they are using the short time in their favor, this way they never actually have to participate in a actual cross examination. Their primary goal is to convince and give cover for legislators and electors to go against the popular vote.

2020-12-01 03:46:39 UTC

Hopefully these legislators or electors are not easily fooled

2020-12-01 03:46:56 UTC

Fiverr is the Georgia Tech for rednecks living in a trailer Georgia and think they know something software engineering

2020-12-01 03:47:49 UTC

@james j Yes it seems to be a direct appeal to the public, in order to inure against outrage when they take drastic measures.

I agree... I think that when the voter registers, a unique identifier is created in the system for that user, but not stored unencrypted. This identifier will be used by the system at the time of voting - as a salt. This salt will be combined with the ballot identifier and a hash will be generated using both values. This hash value will be stored in the system with the voter record of the current election. The voter would have to keep a record of the ballot ID at the time of voting, but the system should not record any association of that ballot ID to the voter in the clear - only as the hash. After the election, the voter can log into the state server with optional, but preferred, 2-factor authentication. Once authenticated, the voter supplies the ballot ID, the voting system will generate a hash of the VoterID and the supplied ballot ID and compare it to the hash stored at the time the vote was cast. If it matches, the tabulated data from that ballot will be displayed for the user with an optional image of the original ballot. I think this would work. Govt officials could be prevented from generating lists of people that voted a particular way and the voter could safely be given access to review their ballot.

I dont get why trumps legal team isnt getting info from dominion so their experts can look at the specs of the machines and give an informed opinion their position seems to be info they gathered without direct knowledge whole at the vote counting place. Beyond the technical aspects they didnt seem to have basic knowledge of what a non technical election worker was doing and they were going off poll workers knowledge that said they had no idea what was going on and nobody would explain it. Okay well every person in that building wasnt that confused let's keep the confused old people testimony to I was confused and think maybe suspicious and get some real folks in.

2020-12-01 03:48:27 UTC

I didn’t get to see the entire hearing, only fragments but I think this is what team Trump broadly claimed today in AZ. The algorithm determined the amount of digital votes which needed to be swapped electronically while physical Trump ballots were replaced with fake Biden ballots and that these fake ballots didn’t have down votes.

2020-12-01 03:49:04 UTC

If Dominion knows there are issues there is nothing left to find

2020-12-01 03:49:33 UTC

Washed it. Dod Style

2020-12-01 03:49:39 UTC

Not a geek but it's obvious to me.

2020-12-01 03:49:39 UTC

@Desertdove, you just advanced to level 1!

2020-12-01 03:50:25 UTC

There were a number of locales that mistakenly sent out ballots with errors on them and needed to send out corrected ballots. This was done transparently. If you did not live in one of those areas, you should report it.

2020-12-01 03:50:40 UTC

Servers were wiped? Must be something they wanted to get rid of .

2020-12-01 03:50:43 UTC

@TaLoN132 damn you're kind of smart

2020-12-01 03:51:40 UTC

so people were needed to switch out the paper ballots? and this switch out also affected the down ballot voting? there's a lot of moving parts to this it would seem

2020-12-01 03:51:43 UTC

Smart and patient AF. Blows my mind.

2020-12-01 03:52:38 UTC

The whole hearing was like 10 hours and there was some slow bits haha

2020-12-01 03:52:58 UTC

This could easily be proven by auditing the down ballot races. If they replaced with Biden only ballots, then do recounts of the other races and they would be off by the number of Biden only ballots.

2020-12-01 03:53:50 UTC

@TaLoN132 using the house to verify data set.. easy peasy... whatever needs to be well veted

2020-12-01 03:53:59 UTC

I am almost positive I heard them say something about already having the ballots in a trailer located nearby. Admittedly, I only heard bits and pieces. Sometime in the next day or so I hope to watch the full hearing.

2020-12-01 03:54:04 UTC

The fact that this is all gotten this out of control makes me miss trust the government that much more

2020-12-01 03:54:27 UTC

This circus with these people shouldn't even be an issue

2020-12-01 03:54:40 UTC

Honestly it's got to be so crazy it's embarrassing

2020-12-01 03:55:07 UTC

It would be pretty hard to have the whole ballots match all the way down the whole thing they arent just pieces of paper with Biden or Trump on it

2020-12-01 03:55:48 UTC

Blockchain somehow lends itself better to something like this

2020-12-01 03:56:08 UTC

It's also expanding the attack surface

2020-12-01 03:56:32 UTC

We can just get somebody on Fiverr to make up portal I'll make sure there in China

2020-12-01 03:57:00 UTC

Blockchain would be interesting

2020-12-01 03:57:23 UTC

Whatever it needs to be well thought out by people tell heart domestic engineers trusted and know

2020-12-01 03:57:28 UTC

Forensic analysis should of been done.
