The anarchist archetype "Dont tell me what to do - I hate the government - leave me alone" proliferated through the 2010s. Trump was carefully created to sell a product to this group.

This archetype is unable to trust advice from health professionals, there is no reason they should trust an election. The Trump(c) mirrors this.
And this is a point that lots of people gloss over. The Democrats got their ass handed to them in Senate and House races and in State races.
I come from a very Republican family. I live in a very Republican State and masses of those Republics voted for Biden because of CoVid and that first Debate.
This is why I think Trump would have slaughtered Bernie. I really do... Which is exactly why he tried so hard in his campaign to tie Biden to Bernie.

At the end of the day I do think Trump is shitty person but all I care about is not going to war. The past 4 years have been great .The previous 8 years of Biden in office was a shit show of insurgency .

Yeah... you are correct. They voted not FOR Biden but checked his name as a vote AGAINST Trump. Which would not have happened with Bernie or Hilliary.
Heck... even that little old widowed lady that her dead husband got accused of voting in Georgia said that:
They asked her how she voted and she said first said "Biden - well not as much for him but against the other guys (meaning Trump)"
People are missing the fact that masses of old school Republicans not only didnt vote for Trump but wanted him out so bad they held their nose and voted for Biden.

@JD~Jordan I suggest those who created Trump(r), knew this in advance. You cant drain the swamp, but you can easily alienate more than half the population going through a presidency insulting everyone. Im not sure the product had 8 year warranty. I rather suggest they needed it for 4 years.

Is seemed like when she was on lou dobbs her story was she saw some remediation taken on ballots with problems but didnt know how the machine worked and she saw a mysterious van the contents of which she couldnt see.

Im not so sure. I have always felt that Trump was more a symptom than the problem itself.
Having said that he gave lots of people the cover to act on their worst impulses.

@JD~Jordan I will not agree that any form of human is a problem - unless we see humanity as a problem for the planet. That said, I do agree. Trump(r) is a product sold. The reason that product has a market is not due to the product. The producers simply filled a void in the US, like UKIP filled one in the UK.
If we want to know how this demand for hostility in politics came from, we have to analyse contemporary psychological development. That must be an apolitical and unbiased discussion, or one only arrives at the opinions one had before the analysis starts.
One would hope. I mean otherwise it would set a precedence, where “court of public opinion” hearings will be normal.
