Valve cover gasket leaks are extremely common, and easy to fix.
Depends on the car. And valve cover gasket changes are pretty cheap. especially if you do it yourself. I used to work in an auto-shop.

I swore off Chevy after I bought a BRAND NEW crate engine (350 Circle track) and it leaked oil before I even started it. It was a sealed engine, so would not have been an easy repair. ๐คทโโ๏ธ

I was thinking: perhaps the reason the DA was pushing so hard on the firearms charge is to prove he was committing a crime and invalidate his self defense claim. Either that or they think that is the only thing they stand a chance of convicting him on.

@Maw Just to clarify: I said closing the gap might be advantageous for people practiced in certain martial arts. That is not me. The Gif was meant as a joke, and the only thing I was intoning was that "crazy eyes" and not showing weakness has gotten me out of 9/10 potential fights.

Getting an FFL is very difficult, because you have to set up an actual business. The ATF frowns on home based FFLs. Remember you have to have permission to run that type of business out of your home as far as zoning, and HOAs go. New full autos were banned from registration in 1986 due to the hughs amendment (thank you Reagan :/) So if it was not registered prior to the registration date, you cannot own it as an individual. There are a finite amount of FA guns in the registry so they are pricey. I agree 100% the NFA is a travesty and is unconstitutional. Hope this helps ๐
Also if you have NFA items the ATF can request to inspect them pretty much at their will. It is a wierd quirk in the law, that you relinquish some privacy rights.
Proof of Registration: A person possessing a firearm registered as required by the NFA shall retain proof of registration which shall be made available to any ATF officer
