I suspect the detective got some instructions. He was surprisingly reluctant to confirm contact between skateboard and head.

I dont know the american system, but that is a significant event in this one.

That detective went out of his way to help the defense.

Naw, his original statement was hugely in favor of the state.

He left out key details.

His original statement said "Anthony Huber approached Rittenhouse before being struck in the chest by a discharge of the defense's firearm" or something along those lines.

1) I don't think anyone laughed, and laughing at that is highly inappropriate in my opinion. You're talking about someone's life ending. 2) I don't know if you're talking about Mr. Huber (Skateboard dude) or Mr. Rosenbaum (Dude first shot), Mr. Rosenbaum was not deceased until an hour or two after the shooting while in the hospital.

He was shot in the liver/inner groin.

The shot that killed him was through the pelivis and a kidney.

I believe the died from the hemorrhage, judging from his clinical presentation while filmed lying on his back trying to get up.

The autopsy results were available in the criminal complaint.
