Give it a unplug/20sec/plug back in (hard reboot)

2020-12-15 02:27:39 UTC

Our IT people will kill me if I do that, but I'll ask them to take a look.

2020-12-15 02:27:47 UTC

Well hey, even better.

2020-12-15 02:27:48 UTC

But still seems weird that we are getting 300kpbs

2020-12-15 02:27:51 UTC

You have IT people.

2020-12-15 02:28:04 UTC

If our upload is 5MBps

2020-12-15 02:28:08 UTC

if he has cable this about what he should get

2020-12-15 02:28:09 UTC

@Maw Could the problem be at the other end?

2020-12-15 02:28:15 UTC

Oh well sorry guys this isn't tech support lol thanks for your help.

2020-12-15 02:28:44 UTC

@RobertGrulerEsq Love "Dang" good ole boy. @Maw Love you have IT guys

2020-12-15 02:28:46 UTC

lmao

2020-12-15 02:28:53 UTC

You upload raw videos normally yeah?

2020-12-15 02:29:06 UTC

Definitely not at 300 kb/s I assume.

2020-12-15 02:29:17 UTC

Give your IT people the latest iteration of their favorite game and they won't kill you.

2020-12-15 02:29:41 UTC

@RobertGrulerEsq can vaccines be mandated?

2020-12-15 02:30:25 UTC

Pretty sure they ruled states can do certain things like that a long time ago. It's crazy, but "it is what it is".

2020-12-15 02:30:27 UTC

It is whatever streamlabs OBS spits out, but I have a feeling the files are too big I think I have the bitrates or whatever set overly high

2020-12-15 02:30:42 UTC

Depends on local law.

2020-12-15 02:31:06 UTC

@D EMC I think what you'll see will be soft mandates, like you can't fly unless you have it.

2020-12-15 02:31:21 UTC

Mark of the beast

2020-12-15 02:31:25 UTC

Raw videos are usually about that size, but you can certainly tweak it. Let's see if I recall 6000 KB/s is Twitch's default upper limit, so that's the kind of 1080p quality it would output.

2020-12-15 02:31:30 UTC

So basically China's social credit system

2020-12-15 02:31:39 UTC

Fair enough. We're fucked. Lmao

2020-12-15 02:31:48 UTC

Yall trust this vaccine?

2020-12-15 02:31:50 UTC

I remember you have to explicitly set record bitrate from OBS.

2020-12-15 02:31:53 UTC

It's mrna

2020-12-15 02:31:57 UTC

And stream bitrate.

2020-12-15 02:32:02 UTC

@RobertGrulerEsq the doctrine of standing doesn't appear to be well-established outside of the US. I would think that in the UK we would consider the constitution a contract and in that sense states are a privy to it and would automatically have a right to bring the case. If the court doesn't think this is the case then by definition the contract cannot be legally enforced and hence is moot.

2020-12-15 02:32:08 UTC

People got back aids results after taking it which is weird lmao

2020-12-15 02:32:40 UTC

I think my record bitrate is much higher than my stream bitrate which accounts for the file size.

2020-12-15 02:32:46 UTC

I'll check the setting tomorrow.

2020-12-15 02:33:06 UTC

For sure, best to keep it roughly the same as it's becoming redundant if you're not re-rendering video.

2020-12-15 02:33:13 UTC

And just re-uploading.

2020-12-15 02:33:25 UTC

If you were splitting it into episodes like you used to, I'd probably say double it.

2020-12-15 02:33:39 UTC

Yea I think that's why I increased it, good memory @Maw

2020-12-15 02:33:42 UTC

correct and your stream bitrate is what is recorded on YouTube

2020-12-15 02:34:36 UTC

Okay perfect.

2020-12-15 02:34:46 UTC

That will shrink the file size and rumble will be better.

2020-12-15 02:34:49 UTC

Thank you!

2020-12-15 02:34:55 UTC

Of course, anytime.

2020-12-15 02:35:17 UTC

It should probably be more like 200 MB - 2000 MB now.
