Ever since I seen an episode or 2 of the Apprentice, I did not like Trump one bit. Couldn't stand the guy. But, I voted for him in 2016 because he was running on things I supported and I voted for him in 2020 because he kept his promises and did great things. Nevertheless, as a person, I don't like him. But, not liking a person is no reason to vote against him. His policies, his brokering an "impossible" peace accord, his actions speak much louder than his personal attributes.

But more authoritarian views are more left wing.

There is a difference between authoritarian and someone who is authoritative.

Fascism hates socialism and communism. Anything to do with Marxism is their opposite

Now there's some things where the right is big government

So in some specific instances you can argue it

Brothers and sisters often despise one another, and they are still of the same house.

But you can't make the case that you can be overall both right wing and authoritarian.

You can make the case that that can be true on specific issues

For example abortion
