They make up this narrative where they can "make a difference" by voting for snake #4
that is much more comforting than the truth.
@Doc It's more depressing when you put it that way, but no less true... sadly. I think that has been the game for a long time. Most Americans think that they are rooting for players on opposing teams, but the teams are made up of picks from the same playground.
