he can test the waters but if he goes in too deep he drowns himself
he said what he said, the GOP will grumble but do nothing, and our ideas get normalized further
I’d rather not normalize them by comparing WN to literally anudda Shoah
if he refused to do damage control the GOP would have had a reason to go after him and we could lose /ourguy/ in the senate
He could’ve done this in a much better way, I think most all here agree this apology went into some unnecessary levels of cuckery.
He’s looking out for his own interests . He too has to pay the bills at the end of the day. He’s making sure his career is not over... but he planted a seed ... and people can read between the lines
I do wonder though if IE shouldn’t perhaps contact him and tell him that we too do not consider ourselves supremacists and we too reject events of the past. But we as an organization advocate for western civilization and are committed to defending our way of life ...
We advocate for Whites explicitly lol
Not “Western Civilization” which implicitly but insufficiently implies White
We don’t advocate for western civilization??
What I was trying to do was I was trying to build on common ground and I was trying to use his own words
Western civilization can be seen as inclusive to various nonWhites that “assimilate” and doesn’t imply the exclusivity of Whites only, which is what this group is advocating for.
Stating “we reject events of the past” is cucking
eg, the pro-homosexual pro-diversity Proud Boys were a “western civ” group
This isn’t the proud boys
@⚡Clark⚡ agreed. What on earth are we apologizing for/rejecting ffs
@Sam Southern - TN you’re basically giving them credibility and the moral high ground
By apologizing yeah. We have no reason to.
Jared Taylor very often talks about how we do not condone events of the past that people want to link to our brand
And I never talked about apology if you read my comment
We don’t have to say we don’t condone events of the past, because then your buying their bullshit @Grayson
So I guess Jared Taylor is wrong
Once jews an muslims say “we regret our role in the slave trade” then maybe we can say something like that
We don’t have to apologize for whatever some of our ancestors did in order to deserve rights
It’s like saying “yes, you’re right about us, we’re evil and sorry about it. Can we have rights now?”
No you guys totally misunderstood my comment and that’s OK. I’m off to the gym. you guys have fun
Gotcha
@Grayson I’m confused how I’m misunderstanding your comment. You said “perhaps IE should say we reject the events of the past”
I was saying that - in reference to his comment - ,perhaps this organization could get in touch with Mr King and try to build on common ground and use his own very words so as to not lose his attention and turn him off. In his comment he attempted to say that just because he’s pro western civilization that doesn’t mean he’s a white supremacist... he proceeded to say that he rejected events of the past often associated with that label. By letting him know that “hey Mr King we too are pro western civilization and believe this country should remain the way it was founded and we too do not defend events of the past that often get linked to us... so we understand your position and support it...” (or something like that )
We are being attacked again by the "Republicans" in our state
Sometimes you have to build on common ground ... or you lose people’s attention after the first sentence
So that's why whites are expected to become a minority in 2045.
@Grayson he himself doesn’t believe his own signal that “we reject events of the past”. It’s just what he has to say to not be labeled a witch. He has no type of loyalty to others who say the same. It’s not a virtue, it’s a defense mechanism. It won’t make us seem like anything other than cowards just like him- except he has a reason to be “cowardly” as you said his career is on the line. Once you’ve apologized for your history, you no longer deserve anything but punishment in people’s eyes. That is why we are here today, to change this idea in peoples minds that we deserve what is happening to us. This is the ground we are fighting for. It’s not ground that can be ceded.
Ok
Jared Taylor often says when the topic comes up: “I’m embarrassed and ashamed of what some white people might have done historically ... BUT ...(and then he goes on to educate the audience big time ) so what he does is he grabs their attention first and then educate them on the true facts .. I think it’s an affective strategy.
That’s a good point, perhaps it does have a place of effectiveness in some cases, like Jareds. Perhaps he could also go without it. I believe in the end it would be better for him to go without it.
Not mentioning any view or opinion on it >>> “oh gawwwwd it was so awful”
Sometimes a little bit of humility goes along way and grabs the listeners attention ... and in my opinion humility is not synonymous of cowardliness
Anyways moving on... I hope Mr King can do demage control
