Small-employers and managers know exactly how real the problems are with the White indigenous population and they see these foreign people working hard and not asking for much. I thought it was a cope for being crooked until I worked construction. It is a hard job to want to show up for every day if you can do something easier and less dangerous for more money. If we can make headway with this pain pill stuff maybe that will help.

My problem with trying to go to AmRen is finding out how to get down there. I'm not yet 21, so I can't rent a car, but I live 4 1/2 hours away from the conference center, so I can definitely drive there. I'm not too crazy about using my own car, but I'm probably being fear-mongered by my parents who think it'll break down.

I would say, to some degree, I've seen Black Brazilians talk about how they want their children to marry whites to "improve the race". That would be another example of that but idk how widespread it is or still is in Brazil.
