I haven't owned a car since 2014 - it has saved me a lot of money just relying on public transit

Yesterday my mom called me 4 times in the span of like 30 minutes to yell at me about how I caused their divorce and I'm literally giving her health problems... because I considered buying a car

I don't think my parents want to drive 5 hours across the state to take me to the grocery store

@Nemets I disagree on public transportation, but it's likely cheaper where you are. I still bike often for groceries.
