From my understanding, the Tutsis were the former ruling class
Literally got killed for their Tutsi privilege
Actually a pretty good comparison for what's gonna happen to us if we become a minority
So kind of unsurprising that to liberals the Tutsis might seem like the bad guys
The only person I care about is the TULSI
Andrew Yang cares more about White Americans than any Republican
Listened to it yesterday, I like him.
Now I don’t think he will win for 2 reasons.
Its too early for UBI to happen, automation is not there yet.
And to have this kind of position on workers, one would have to restrict immigration to make it work.
And there is no way the Left will let that happen.
Did you listen to all of it?
According to him and the data it is relevant and pertinent.
I gotta listen to it all again when Im not about to go to bed. And I trust the Autistic Asian man
How does he care for white Americans?
I’ll watch it another sometime tho
Fox News rn
That real?
fresh of the presses from Alex
Extra extra
wait we'd have to restrict immigration to make UBI work?
wtf I love UBI now
Yeah itd be impossible to have that many gibs without restrictions on immigration
Wouldn't UBI cost around $1 Trillion each year, since it gives $1K each month to everyone over 18. Even if it replaced welfare, that's still an extra $700-$800 billion we'd be spending.
Yeah thats the lefty argument against it. At the end of the day it would end up decreasing welfare for the actual poor people.
UBI is seriously retarded
basically they took a strawman of socialism and made it real
conservatives always flip out about social programs because "it's giving away free money for no reason", which isn't necessarily true, but in this case it's *actually* true
It is not plausible until automation takes place to a crazy extent, ideally I would not have automation take control like that, but with the way political systems are in the US I do not know if that would happen.
People that act like automation is going to suddenly replace half the jobs in 20 years or something are brainlets.
Maybe eventually but keep it mind that the industrial revolution brought tractors and later combine harvesters that replaced the work on 20 field hands and did it faster, among other examples but it wasn't as if everyone was suddenly unemployed.
Stone toss based and red pilled once more
@nord while I see your point, I think that AI could in many ways replace the need for humans at all. While the industrial revolution was mostly just about making labor more efficient. AI could replace the need all together.
We're actually talking about UBI and automation in my economics class
@Sam Anderson A lot of businesses could be automated, yet aren't. A lot of our work could be done autonomously.
Why haven't the jobs that can already be automated done so already?
Also this might be kind of an obvious point but, the argument that we need UBI because "gee all the jobs will get automated lol" Isn't valid until the jobs are actually all automated.
Takes time lmao.
