I'm sure that applies to some of the elites, but I doubt that most of the elites are obsessed with replacing white people for the sake of it. I'm sure your average business elite wouldn't care enough to support immigration once the economic incentive dries up. @Grenadier

obviously if local costs of living are high so should be the wages because demanding that people commute more than 40 minutes absolute max is a waste of both personal time and national resources via fuel

2019-02-16 03:39:39 UTC

Why not hot younger La Pen?

2019-02-16 03:39:45 UTC

who cares about her

2019-02-16 03:40:04 UTC

Her speech was fire last year

2019-02-16 03:40:08 UTC

YOU NEVER KNOW **WHO** IS GONNA COME ON THAT STAGE

2019-02-16 03:40:15 UTC

The reality is that we have plenty for the workforce, the financial incentive that big business uses for immigration is about driving costs down, not necessity. That also won't change with automation, there will always be labor costs to cut.

2019-02-16 03:40:18 UTC

in an ideal country commuting would be no more than 30 minutes, preferably 20 minutes

2019-02-16 03:40:19 UTC

Man cpac must be struggling to find speakers

2019-02-16 03:40:22 UTC

God, conservatism is so boring
Most of these people are probably just gonna drone on about taxes

2019-02-16 03:40:29 UTC

Should have got that guy that runs IE.

2019-02-16 03:40:29 UTC

But American conservatives love opening up for brown conquest

2019-02-16 03:40:33 UTC

So tiresome.

2019-02-16 03:40:54 UTC

@nord His name is @Jacob

2019-02-16 03:40:58 UTC

@Grenadier If automation is cheap enough there's no need for immigrants

2019-02-16 03:41:22 UTC

Eh, there will always be some kind of need for laborers. And there will always be a desire to make them work cheaply.

2019-02-16 03:41:33 UTC

"Can you build a wall Rick Harrison?"
"Best I can do is amnesty"

2019-02-16 03:41:50 UTC

lel

2019-02-16 03:41:53 UTC

I mean I guess, but automation can drastically decrease that need

2019-02-16 03:41:54 UTC

And even if the immigrants aren't needed to reduce labor cost, they then become consumers.

2019-02-16 03:42:22 UTC

Not if there's no work for them to make money to consume with

2019-02-16 03:42:29 UTC

Which is where the UBI comes in.

2019-02-16 03:42:48 UTC

Why would the elites want more people to share the UBI with?

2019-02-16 03:42:57 UTC

They would just keep it otherwise

2019-02-16 03:43:09 UTC

Just got called a Nazi for saying that almost all media corporations are headed by Jewish people

2019-02-16 03:43:11 UTC

Lol

2019-02-16 03:43:18 UTC

It doesn't really effect them, if we get to that stage of piss earth it just becomes more or less irrelevant.

2019-02-16 03:43:40 UTC

@TylerHess "if a man cant support a family of 4 with 40 hours, the system has unequivoacably failed completely"
Would you still apply this standard to stuff like fast food jobs?

2019-02-16 03:43:56 UTC

@Grenadier Of course it affects them, someone has to pay for the UBI

2019-02-16 03:43:59 UTC

this is a future I believe in

2019-02-16 03:44:05 UTC

Yeah tbh people that try to support families on random service jobs are dumb.

2019-02-16 03:44:09 UTC

A career should pay well.

2019-02-16 03:44:37 UTC

Fast food is not a career

2019-02-16 03:44:51 UTC

I read that even secretaries made an average of $17 an hour in today’s money in the 50s

2019-02-16 03:44:58 UTC

Plus taxes were lower

2019-02-16 03:45:11 UTC

"Paying" for the UBI isn't an issue. We can constantly generate enough magic fiat money to feed to the masses, limiting it just enough to keep inflation comfortable. It doesn't really matter to them if the QoL for the average goes down as a result.

2019-02-16 03:45:13 UTC

Grown ass people aren't in fast food as "careers" becaus they want to be.

2019-02-16 03:45:39 UTC

Yeah you have to keep intellectual limitations in mind

2019-02-16 03:45:57 UTC

In fact that's pretty much already happening in a way, if you compare real buying power for hours worked to what it was 50 years ago.

2019-02-16 03:46:05 UTC

Well yeah I'm not going to troll people because they have a bad job, but It brings to mind groups of certain demographics of people screaming for 15 an hour min wage in the fast food industry.
