@TIDE Some people get that idea. If we keep pushing the idea that facts are dumb, *you* might understand that that's hyperbole, but not everyone does. Some people take it literally and they try to argue on emotions alone and end up making idiots of themselves when they can't respond to basic counters.
@Papa Pizzagate did you just call me an autist
id be curious to know how everyone scores on Big 5 personality traits
*avtist
Oh hey, fellas.
Having a nice night?
The thing about emotional arguments is that there's almost always a simple response to them. If you try arguing on emotion alone, you'll either go in an infinite circle, or you'll sound dumb when you can't answer a simple question.
👍
im comfy
It is real /comfy hours/
You really are reddit, aren't you?
Like if you're just gonna say "but Kate Steinle" then they're just gonna counter that immigrants have lower crime rates and you're gonna be sitting there awkwardly
was gonna watch Planet of the Apes but its too late
😂 😂 😂
yeah I am *squints* Pardner Pizzagate
🤠 🍕
ones demeanor in argumentation is more important I think
if Kingfish is reddit, Ian is Voat
how things are said and how you look while saying them is almost more effective than the words themselves
@VinceChaos I'd prefer to think of myself as 2010 4chan /x/ cross /pol/, but I appreciate the compliment.
literally unheard of ? :^) :^)
I got bantzed on [dating app] by a blue eyed Amerindian who said I looked more native than her.
I think of you as a NERD
A-am I owned?
Damn, kingfish bringing out the vintage content
@TIDE anyway, what did you mean by the "we all used to be normies" thing?
you know me
what is a "normie" to you?
I'm still normal
Not to open the can of worms that is defining normie, but I just mean that we all had to have a political awakening at some point, we didn't all realise the crisis we're in now was even happening.
oh
normies play fortnite
was that in response to the thing about my parents, or just a general statement? @TIDE
@Jacob Not to speak for Tide, but - I'd say we all (mostly) had a conventional modern worldview of politics and race.
At one point
haha to be fair I never did, but that's not to say I was always an identitarian, it's just that I was always weird politically
