When I was a kid and went to school in Europe there was no such thing as African-Italian or Indian-French or Swedish-Asian. It was inconceivable. Now it’s a reality

I mean. I’m 1/8th Irish, 1/16th Welsh, 5/8ths English, 1/16th German, and 1/8th Danish. There aren’t many Americans who are 100% any European ethnic group, and it’s not really a problem. White Americans are on their way to becoming their own ethnic group.

Well, here's the thing. Variation in culture among Europeans is largely environmental. Mixed Europeans aren't going to have the same problems as mixed race kids do as long as both parents are reasonably assimilated to the same culture.

So, yes, there's going to be problems in a family if there's a cultural difference, but if you're already here and you're doing fine, there's no need to be insecure about it. @DixieBoy76 - KY

England is only English if it actually has the native English there. You can’t replace them with Germans, Italians, Russians, Poles, or even Irish.
