Light is seen curving up in air and contradictory to your earlier assertion of ```, you do realize refraction goes "both ways", right?```

2019-05-18 21:02:40 UTC

The refractive rate of air is much lower, I'd need some expensive stuff to see that. So I'll leave you with that question for now.

2019-05-18 21:02:51 UTC

@Human Sheeple No it does not?

2019-05-18 21:03:33 UTC

Powerful laser pulses can now be coaxed around corners.

2019-05-18 21:03:34 UTC

So please can you show me lasers curving down in air, if you respond with anything other than proof of what I asked for or a simple retraction and an apology of "Sorry I don't have proof" you are going in the icebox.
Last time I'm going to ask you @井瀬川ペトロ Please can you show me lasers curving down in air?

2019-05-18 21:03:58 UTC

No, I can not. At least now.

2019-05-18 21:04:03 UTC

Ban me if you will.

2019-05-18 21:04:06 UTC

@KHOLWA That is lasers bending down in water, also not what I asked for

2019-05-18 21:04:18 UTC

@井瀬川ペトロ No I won't ban you because you have been honest and admitted you don't have proof of your assertion

2019-05-18 21:04:22 UTC

And that I appreciate

2019-05-18 21:04:52 UTC

Well, it's not that I don't have proof. But you clearly don't understand why I can't do it *now.*

2019-05-18 21:04:59 UTC

But, sure.

2019-05-18 21:05:12 UTC

Things are not so just because you say they are.

2019-05-18 21:05:22 UTC

...what

2019-05-18 21:05:25 UTC

No proof, no lasers curving down in air.

2019-05-18 21:05:53 UTC

That's not how things work... But sure, you don't understand it, I can't make you, whatever.

2019-05-18 21:06:17 UTC

That is how science works, it's the result https://imgur.com/ZGxzT55

2019-05-18 21:06:37 UTC

But... the laser is bending.

2019-05-18 21:06:47 UTC

If you have a really strong laser, will it go around the world and come back to you? Or will it bounce out of the world and be directed in to the space?

2019-05-18 21:07:00 UTC

The scientific method is hypothesis driven, you have a hypothesis: Light curves down in air. You have a null hypothesis of Light curves up in air.
The null hypothesis is true, so the main hypothesis (which has no proof) is not.

2019-05-18 21:07:17 UTC

So the science shows light curves up in air with zero evidence to say otherwise.

2019-05-18 21:07:41 UTC

@KHOLWA Good question, I have no clue. You should join college and try that.

2019-05-18 21:08:50 UTC

@Human Sheeple Well, no, because refraction is not binary, it's just the divergence of the pathway of light when travelling trough a medium.

2019-05-18 21:08:53 UTC

Earth bends spacetime very less for that to happen, though. That could happen if you stood right on the event horizon of a Black Hole.
So, ya, it would escape into space unless it is absorbed by something on it's path.

2019-05-18 21:09:20 UTC

Proof?

2019-05-18 21:09:25 UTC

@井瀬川ペトロ Sorry are you still asserting laser light curves down in air?

2019-05-18 21:09:52 UTC

@Human Sheeple No, like I stated, I'm not talking about lasers here.

2019-05-18 21:09:57 UTC

Well I am

2019-05-18 21:10:11 UTC

Space-time is a gay lie

2019-05-18 21:10:43 UTC

@Human Sheeple Point being?

Silly deluded globies

2019-05-18 21:11:50 UTC

Now you know light curves up in air you know why you see ships disappear from view hull fist in the distance, because the arch of light becomes more pronounced.

2019-05-18 21:12:14 UTC

Right.

2019-05-18 21:12:46 UTC

Now you understand why you see sunrises and sunsets
