Can I post images?
Every material that light can travel through has an index of refraction, denoted by the letter n. The velocity of light in a vacuum is 3.0 × 108 m/s.
...
Index of Refraction of Air.
Index of Refraction of Airwavelength vac:(n-1) × 108200 nm32408900 nm27419
@井瀬川ペトロ This is not what I asked for, I asked for proof lasers curve down in air
I'm explaining why they do.
3.0 × 108 m/s.= 324m/s
No it isn't
Damn it, you really don't understand anything, do you?
Okay so
I don't care about your hitler apologist explainations, I want you to prove to me that lasers curve down in air?
Lasers = light
Light gets refracted by air
Lasers get refracted by air.
It's simple.
Yes lasers get refracted upwards by air.
Please prove to me lasers get refracted down in air.
@井瀬川ペトロ This is a prism with glass, this is not what I asked for, please show me lasers curving down in air,
Well, that'll be a bit harder.
Light is seen curving up in air and contradictory to your earlier assertion of ```, you do realize refraction goes "both ways", right?```
The refractive rate of air is much lower, I'd need some expensive stuff to see that. So I'll leave you with that question for now.
@Human Sheeple No it does not?
Powerful laser pulses can now be coaxed around corners.
So please can you show me lasers curving down in air, if you respond with anything other than proof of what I asked for or a simple retraction and an apology of "Sorry I don't have proof" you are going in the icebox.
Last time I'm going to ask you @井瀬川ペトロ Please can you show me lasers curving down in air?
No, I can not. At least now.
Ban me if you will.
@KHOLWA That is lasers bending down in water, also not what I asked for
@井瀬川ペトロ No I won't ban you because you have been honest and admitted you don't have proof of your assertion
And that I appreciate
Well, it's not that I don't have proof. But you clearly don't understand why I can't do it *now.*
But, sure.
Things are not so just because you say they are.
...what
No proof, no lasers curving down in air.
That's not how things work... But sure, you don't understand it, I can't make you, whatever.
That is how science works, it's the result https://imgur.com/ZGxzT55
But... the laser is bending.
If you have a really strong laser, will it go around the world and come back to you? Or will it bounce out of the world and be directed in to the space?
The scientific method is hypothesis driven, you have a hypothesis: Light curves down in air. You have a null hypothesis of Light curves up in air.
The null hypothesis is true, so the main hypothesis (which has no proof) is not.
