@Abe Lover I laughed my way through that video. He is quite funny in the way he speaks nonsense and valid points.
First he says the sun would have to move faster down south then says well that does not make sense. Then he says the winds are faster down south and ignores what he had earlier said about how the sun would have to move faster down south. Guess because he dismissed it out of hand.
Not that I agree with that model I do not.
Later he tells the story about how Neptune was found using gravity. Hmmm. Strange he never considers that could be a fairy tale told only told after finding Neptune.
Funny when he says absolute motion does not exist and complains because the video shows what science claims about the movement of the planets and sun. Absolute motion does not exist. Right. Relative motion is the only thing that exist. Hello you just went against what you had said. This is relative motion. Why do you want to fight about wrong term used. I agree that in this model that absolute motion would be impossible to know. However it was clear that he was referring to relative motion of the sun within the Milky way. That is what science says. Set up this wrong word used as a strawman then knock it down. Wow you just proved you are dishonest.
Anyway. Just explaining why it made me laugh. Professor. Wow that really puts shame to real professors. Funny because I sort of agree with him just not the strong bias he is showing and indignation that someone dares to disagree that the earth is a ball.
Many strawman set up to knock down. Like dropping a ball on a moving vehicle. Sort of proves gravity but has nothing to do with mass to mass attraction which was the claim he was pointing to. That is just a theory and not proven.
