Most satalites are communication satalites
There isnt much communication coming from Antarctica
it would be pretty easy to have GPSs fail underground, especially if you're talking about the government who has endless resources at their disposal. Put a few scramblers underground at key locations to make sure that anything under that point won't receive a signal and there you go

It’s easy to just say that, it’s another thing to prove it
idk the image is nice but its innacurate to how small a satellite is and how big the earth is
you cant visibly see many cities or mountains from that elevation (preserved at that elevation depicted in the picture) so why would you be able to see something the size of a car, it would be the equivilent of spotting a spec of dust (most being microns large) on a basketball, nothing orbits as far away from earth as the depiction either
at least not many if many, 90% say 19k kilometers above the surface
you can actually spot alot of satalites with a naked eye, and with a telescope see them even better, ISS for example has a function where you can see when it will pass over you

@Abe Lover they say there is gps satellites everywhere but when you try to track in Antarctica the gps signal gets lost as you move away from the coast.
