They don't he's usign a source code that asserts light bends down in air.
I have photographs of reality that shows light bends up in air.
He uses his model to say flat earth isn't real because the model doesn't match observations

When if you show light curving up, it matches reality perfectly

But I wasn't using bislins model to prove whether the earth is round or not? Im interested in Astrophysics as a profession.
