@ThePangburn Do you think it's ever justified to relieved by someone's death, i.e. in cases where someone is doing something very bad and their death results in positive effects because they're no longer able to do bad things? One can prefer that those positive effects would have come about in some other way, but that doesn't change the fact tnat relief is a very sensible reaction to the end of something terrible. I'm not particularly interested in arguing whether or not Trump meets the standard of badness to relieved about his death - I'm curious if you think that it's possible to have that feeling in a way that isn't "morally bankrupt."
I'd stay but I have a trolley to catch 😂 😂
What’s this ‘cancel rent’ movement? 🧐🤨
the belief that rent is theft
I agree with Travis that anyone wishing for Trump’s death is morally bankrupt. Unfortunately, our government forces me to associate with you. I couldn’t disassociate if I tried
Trumpy will prevale. We will ressurect him if needed.
Would wishing that Hitler would die circa 1944 be morally bankrupt?
About as bankrupt as wishing Hegel dying
The German philosopher?
Hegel was cool. But Kitaro Nishida was better
Now that Snopes and the AP are saying it, the left will agree. They can't listen to the guy themselves and make up their own mind
Left derangement syndrome?
Are trans women real women?
Also what do you guys think defines the terms man and woman
It is true. trump never called covid19 a hoax. He was giving a speech that was talking about Covid and democrats at the same time. He called the impeachment a hoax. the main issue here is that this man is so terrible at speaking that he can be completely misunderstood. What a fuckup.
> Are trans women real women?
@kaizen It doesn't say "real man" on my birth certificate.
But let me rephrase then, are trans women women?
Actually no let’s step back for a sec
Gender and sex are different
Anyways. Just be accepting and compassionate...
That's the best approach to social situations
They are greatly related
Being accepting and compassionate to a schizophrenic person is not to play into their delusions
I’m asking the question because I’m questioning my own opinion and want to see other POVs
And @BobbyMack yes I agree. What’s your stance on transgenderism
> Being accepting and compassionate to a schizophrenic person is not to play into their delusions
@BobbyMack Are you making a clinical diagnosis?
No, I'm not diagnosing anyone
Well I agree with your statement. But I don't see the connection.
Many seem to think the best way to handle someone with gender dysphoria is sex reassignment therapy, or that society at large has to change its attitude.
Actually, now that I'm typing it, sex reassignment therapy sounds a lot more of a legit way to solve the problem than having society play into their imagined reality
Do people think that the process of gender reassignment is quick and slipshod?
