It's sad such things are true, but what does that have to do with BLM right now? I'm focused on the US (where Sowell is), and won't speak for other countries. My grandma knew people in the KKK. Those kinds of cultural conditions have had an impact on people living today.
I suggest we look for the *valid* concerns the BLM movement as a whole raises and address those concerns. I keep hearing people discount the whole group as if they have no valid concerns, and it bothers me. I'm against the solutions the movement suggests and disagree on some of the fundamental beliefs, but I think it's important to build bridges.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but people who have a similar son color to me being slaves in the Ottoman Empire appears to have negligible effects on the socioeconomic status of Americans such as Sowell himself. I don't understand why this specific quote is relevant to BLM in the US which he appears to be commenting on. Can someone please clarify why this quote is relevant?
@everyone Dino Day starts in fifteen minutes!!
If you haven't told us about your favorite dinosaur yet, jump on the open mic! @everyone
Sooo this adds up to Pangburn saying if you are not grown up yet come and speak at open mic?
No, it's just a fun topic that we don't talk about much. Hop on the mic!
only thing I have to say about that (unless i missunderstand the topic behind the topic) is that chickens and crocodiles are still here and are dinosaur.
dont have one
pick one π
> only thing I have to say about that (unless i missunderstand the topic behind the topic) is that chickens and crocodiles are still here and are dinosaur.
@Jostein if you wanna see some other real life loving dinosaurs look up the Cassowary
Modern day dinosaur
> Sooo this adds up to Pangburn saying if you are not grown up yet come and speak at open mic?
@Jostein Machismo.
You guys like this so far?? :)
Looks good so far.
Actually , you exist precisely because the laws of physics have been violated during the Big Bang at high energies. :))
*Also, we don't know weather we live in a deterministic Universe or not. At least yet. I like the writing, it makes you dream. Especially the breath analogy.. Also I enjoyed noticing that you talk of determinism and also destiny, which may seem contradictory for a limited mind π . That is really really deep: "breath was destined to pass through my body". @m.miller
the Big Bang is a big hoax
That is one point of view. Some evidence seems to back up the Big Bang Theory. Or at least some derivations of it.
If you have an evidence that contradicts it, please bring it forth, Sir π₯³
Big Bang Vs The Small Splash π₯³
No way
Big bang=God putting things in motion
That is one way of looking at things. I believe that every bang is a splash and every splash is a bang, no matter how big or small π
I would love to discuss, in good faith reasoning atheists have it just happened lol
