As with all systems, there is the risk of corruption. How this is dealt with depends on the exact system. A fascist form of government may take one of several forms. I would say that democracy is corrupted by people voting for individual interests and politicians looking out for the same. I think democratic systems tend to look out for the rich and an oligarchy of unelected billionaires is worse than a system of government that has a set of ground rules and courts to keep it in check.
re. corruption, using NS germany as an example, gun ownership was legal
except for merchants and other troublesome tricksters
Isn't Giovanni Gentile the philosopher behind it?
idk who originally came up with it tbh
Mussolini made fascism
there are a large amount of philosophers that have contributed to the ideological foundation of fascism, gentile co-wrote (or ghost wrote) mussolini's fascist manifesto, and did a lot of synthesizing of older philosopher's works
Yes but Benito Mussolini is the accredited founder of the party.
I don't so much support the Mussolini's version of fascism as, IIRC, it was government centric. I think government gets it's meaning from the people, not the other way around. At the center of every decision must be what is good for the people and government must serve the people, not the person.
Well yes but fascism is a one party system so its not good for the interests of the people as a whole due to everyone having different views.
@Pinochet fascism can't be socialistic.
It rejects it.
Yet its economy is
Hahaha.
It is it's own brand of socialism.
you are thinking of Marxist Socialism
Migueleby, is that the Venezuelan flag on your name?
Socialism is when the MoP is owned collectively by the workers.
Fascist Italy was economically statist, but there never was collective ownership of the MoP.
The Third Reich's economy was based on privatization en masse, these corporations were under State supervision, but never nationalized nor collectively owned. Hitler even crushed all worker unions. @Pinochet
@Pinochet Well, I would argue that a two party system is often just the illusion of choice. Perhaps there are wedge issues to keep the masses divided, but what really matters to those in power will be done no matter what in time. I would argue that capitalist democracies are particularly bad because real democracy doesn't exist where capital can be brought to bear. Capitalist democracy is rule by the capitalist, for the capitalist.
and by that I mean they don't actually know what's good for them, just look at all of the babylonian hedonism of the modern world - the lemmings are a product of the system
I mean Fascism generally doesnt work.
If I must explain why, you need a history book.
I say I'm a fascist, but just saying that does not denote an exact type of government but rather a classification. I agree that fascism can fail.
based
Fascism does fail.
Name a time where it succeeded
First point out issues with Germany's
The west is failing now because of democracy. It has not served the people's interest in a long time because of capitalism.
@Pinochet Fascism turned Germany into the second world economy by GDP and ended unemployement.
Actually, the people decided who ran the country so it served the people in the exact way they wished for.
Also based, democracy and capitalism built the country, but in a post industrial and ever rotting country we need to return to our roots
on the topic of fascism's economic doctrine, can I post a quote from a book i used on an essay for university here?
By majority standards atleast
all government systems have failed?
Reject modernity, return to the green top
Fascism also rebuilt Italy, and worked quite well till the Great Depression.
Migueleby it also caused extreme poverty at the end, millions of deaths, fearful citizens, the bombings on Germany to the point it was rubble...
Concentration camp construction
And much more
poverty in fascist italy?
