So essentially there should be a path to citizenship for legal immigrants, although that path should be long and have a lot of requirements. I actually think Japan has one of the best systems of citizenship systems in the world, due to it being hard to get and not allowing dual citizenship.

Race is the foundation of identity and allowing "little Mexico" and the various other ethnic ghettoes is a natural fault line within a nation. This is clear in places like the US where being "American" has lost all meaning and it's now just a place of business where the various racial factions seek to advance their own tribal agenda. People are hyphenated Americans for a reason, they put the important part first. If immigration were to be allowed, it must be controlled and generally of the same stock or as close as possible.

When I went to middle school there was a kid who was adopted from China and raised by Finnish parents. Honestly I don't think his race mattered much and he was almost as Finnish as eveyone else. I think culture is more important than race.
