Corporatism is not socialism

2018-10-05 20:43:27 UTC

Particualrly infrastrucute.

2018-10-05 20:43:39 UTC

Thats where "Mussolini makes the trains run on time" saying comes from.

2018-10-05 20:43:47 UTC

@FLanon Well it's more complicated than that, allow me to explain.

2018-10-05 20:43:55 UTC

Muslim newborns in France:

acosta is mad

2018-10-05 20:44:40 UTC

>51% in one region

2018-10-05 20:44:43 UTC

Absolutely horrid

2018-10-05 20:45:15 UTC

@FLanon Yes, Mussolini did coerce and inventivize a group of politically-loyal bussiness owners and allow them to establish monopolies over key parts of the industry in an effort to retain greater control over the private sector, but that was actually small in scale, the majority of industry was nationalized, including but not limited to trains, automobile manufacturing (partial), most natural resources, and many other aspects.

2018-10-05 20:45:26 UTC

@FLanon the worst part is which department that is

2018-10-05 20:45:28 UTC

Saint-Denis

2018-10-05 20:45:37 UTC

where Charles Martel is buried

2018-10-05 20:45:44 UTC

😢

2018-10-05 20:45:50 UTC

Oh really?

2018-10-05 20:46:01 UTC

What an absolute travesty

2018-10-05 20:46:34 UTC

The blood those grounds are covered in and this new generation decides to throw it out with ballots

2018-10-05 20:46:45 UTC

@FLanon You ever read this book?

2018-10-05 20:46:50 UTC

The biggest support for the Front National is in Southern France, its pretty easy to see why when looking at that Graph

2018-10-05 20:46:54 UTC

Good book, includes a lot of information about Italy.

2018-10-05 20:46:59 UTC

Including Mussolini.

2018-10-05 20:47:09 UTC

I wish to immigrate to Italy one day.

2018-10-05 20:47:12 UTC

Rome was amazing.

2018-10-05 20:47:14 UTC

I've been.

2018-10-05 20:47:23 UTC

I am aware that Mussolini did nationalize quite a few industries in his time

2018-10-05 20:47:26 UTC

Sadly, the refugees have spread to the city of Rome now.

2018-10-05 20:47:45 UTC

@FLanon ehhh...

2018-10-05 20:47:47 UTC

I mean

2018-10-05 20:47:48 UTC

Again

2018-10-05 20:47:50 UTC

Its very complicated

2018-10-05 20:48:06 UTC

Yes, certainly, there was intervention in the economy

2018-10-05 20:48:15 UTC

Sometimes it was full government control and seizure without compensation, and sometimes it was national charters, or elevating loyal workers to shareholder positions.

2018-10-05 20:48:27 UTC

He didn't stick to one technique.

2018-10-05 20:48:51 UTC

Either way, a lot of the things he did were straight of out Marx.

2018-10-05 20:48:55 UTC

I would call that very distinct from socialism, I am someone who believes in pragmatic intervention

2018-10-05 20:49:03 UTC

I see.
