For some reason they decided the exhaust manifold should dump out over the #2 cylinder instead of the 3/4 holes
Which cooked #6 over time
They fixed that in later models but guess who had the one that liked to drop cylinder 6
I've only ever owned gas motors.
Diesel is bae
I’m a truck guy though
I have what I hope to be the last pickup I ever have to own now in a 96 250 with a 7.3
Some Mennonite drove it around the farm and to church and had service reports for the last 5 years it’s not in perfect condition but it’s and really good mechanically speaking condition
He took very good care of it
I've a '14 Ram right now with a 345cid Hemi. I love my truck.
I had a ‘12 with the 5.7 it was a sweet ride
Got into a wreck and decided to not make another vehicle payment though
We got our son a '14 Jeep Cherokee in February and today he paid it off by totaling it.
Oof that was your pic from before
What did he end up hitting
He dozed off and hit a guard rail at 60mph. They brought part of the guard rail to the tow yard.
The beauty of a crumple zone. It absorbs a huge amount of force
I've never seen so many airbags.....it is like there were airbags inside of airbags. He walked away without a scratch/cut/mark save for a small airbag burn to his left forearm.
Thats impressive. They've definitely come a long way in safety
Last summer there was an accident outside the shop i work at. Prius Tboned a volvo C70(convertible coupe) at about 45-50. Hit directly on the driver door of the volvo. Kid was shaken up but completely fine. Lady in the prius we had to cut out because the airbags were completely casing her in. She also didnt suffer any injuries
I’m picking up a 97 F350 tomorrow 🔥🔥🔥
Dually? 7.3?
Noice
@[VA] JediComms my buddy hit a dump truck cuz he dozed off doing 60 and was fine
@Shane_NA6 Yep!
No car or motorcycle guys in here?
@Anonymoose you rang?
Both are 1100s.
My first 1100, bought back in '91. Still have it, but currently stripped done to the frame for a resto-mods.
Another 1100
Mopar or no car
Very nice.
I'm going to have to get a car first for practicality sake. Bike will follow soon after.
Ive owned a good few. Current fun car is a 90 miata because Im a hairdresser than I want to get another bike
@Anonymoose - get the toys before the woman. I had three bikes and one Muscle Car when I met her. Two kids and 22 years later I now have seven bikes and the two cars pictured. Next will be a workshop to take the cars down to the unibody and resto-mods them as well. Bikes require less space and cash so they get attention right now.
Nice.
i dont know alot about cars next to land cruisers and jeeps bc thats all ive been able to get my hands on so far
all i can say is *dont buy a 91-92 FJ80*
unless you like bullshti
Its all just nuts and bolts. The only thing that changes is where they are and what fasteners they use
