Might say be careful with used jpc's. Check the shoulder straps for wear, they have a nasty habit of tearing

2020-05-07 00:54:35 UTC

that a vz58?

2020-05-07 00:57:30 UTC

Yep

2020-05-07 00:58:06 UTC

Very nice

2020-05-07 00:58:27 UTC

I call it my freedom keeper lol

2020-05-07 00:58:39 UTC

I plan to get buried with it lol

2020-05-07 02:39:27 UTC

Aero wants $50 for a lower parts kit without a fire control group. Is that a reasonable price?

2020-05-07 02:39:59 UTC

Idk what non-inflated prices looked like

2020-05-07 02:48:19 UTC

BCM's kit is $120, but sold out. Comes with the FCG

2020-05-07 02:49:57 UTC

I thought geissele had a decent kit without fcg

2020-05-07 02:56:00 UTC

They do, they have a rock solid kit without a fcg. There's two versions, a normal one and one with a Gucci trigger guard and maritime bolt catch

2020-05-07 02:58:40 UTC

I put together about a $1100 build not including lower since I already have a built one. But that includes BCM CH, aero 16" 1/7 barrel, BCM upper with parts and forward assist, AIM BCG, and BCM 13" mlok rail. And a few other goodies. Should be a fairly solid battle rifle.

2020-05-07 02:58:41 UTC

Both out of stock on their website atm

2020-05-07 02:59:24 UTC

@Soulraiser what is costing you 1100 there? Good optic?

2020-05-07 03:01:56 UTC

I bought my BCM upper from a guy in a Walmart parking lot for 350

2020-05-07 03:06:20 UTC

That sounds like a decent build @Soulraiser

2020-05-07 03:06:42 UTC

It's looking like my budget will be $600 or so. Lol. I'm gonna have to scrap getting BCM parts.

2020-05-07 03:06:53 UTC

For the whole rifle?

2020-05-07 03:07:14 UTC

Excluding the stripped lower, yes.

2020-05-07 03:07:23 UTC

☹️

2020-05-07 03:07:49 UTC

I suggest you save up

2020-05-07 03:07:58 UTC

Or buy piece by piece

2020-05-07 03:09:42 UTC

Probably end up building a handgun instead. At least I can get something fully functional at that budget.

2020-05-07 03:10:31 UTC

If you need it now then sure

2020-05-07 03:10:46 UTC

.

2020-05-07 03:10:51 UTC

Or you could buy a police trade in glock and continued saving

2020-05-07 03:11:35 UTC

Im gonna try and trade my extra 18" upper for a pistol... I only have my p80 g19 right now for pistols.

2020-05-07 03:11:42 UTC

Can pick up an M&P9 single stack for under $400 and have $200 for ammo...

2020-05-07 03:13:00 UTC

Single stack 9?

2020-05-07 03:13:36 UTC

MN requires a permit to buy handguns or "scary assault rifles". I'm not complying with that shit. Luckily shotguns only need the regular NICS check. Building a gun isn't regulated here either.

2020-05-07 03:14:23 UTC

Ah

2020-05-07 03:14:32 UTC

So a polymer 80 then?

2020-05-07 03:15:16 UTC

Yep. It's looking like that'll be what I get. I originally wanted to build an 80% Sig P320, but that's a few hundred more.

2020-05-07 03:25:19 UTC

Yeah, @Bogs_Bunny I think you would be better served with a reliable handgun

2020-05-07 04:01:36 UTC

Question to all you gurus from someone who is still learning.

2020-05-07 04:01:52 UTC

what do you think I should upgrade on here?

So if you dont have enough gas going from your gas block it wont eject and cause a malfunction.

2020-05-07 04:02:10 UTC

What happens if you have too much?

2020-05-07 04:02:22 UTC

increased wear, case head separation possibly

2020-05-07 04:02:32 UTC

which is an absolute bitch
