Cages are hard to get. AVS would be what you want, loooking around 650 used

2020-05-20 16:46:07 UTC

Oh i forgot about the cage's 1.5k price tag

2020-05-20 16:46:34 UTC

@Crye_Salesman without plates?

2020-05-20 16:47:23 UTC

Yeah plates are gonna add at least 500

2020-05-20 16:47:39 UTC

And then you can get them as expensive as 1-2k per plate

2020-05-20 16:48:03 UTC

Well I just won some Hoplite multicurve lvl 4s the other day

2020-05-20 17:31:34 UTC

Me when I finish an AR build

+/- 100 deepening what options you want

> @TankzFoBeer most any reloading manual will have a breakdown of how to do it
@AppalachianTerminus. Get the Lee reloading book

> Any of you guys run gear for a G3 or FAL variant?
@The_Black_Knight what kind of gear

2020-05-20 19:24:02 UTC

@(PA) LM chest rigs or what pouches you use. a friend of mine picked a PTR up and I told him to get a Rhodesian rig for the time being, since he doesn’t have a PC yet

2020-05-20 19:27:36 UTC

@The_Black_Knight 2x g3 mags will fit in a g36 dual mag pouch. One g3 mag will fit in some ar mag pouches kinda tight. When I get more I'll get m1a or ar10 mag pouches.

2020-05-20 19:29:33 UTC

Gotcha, he was eyeballing some surplus German stuff too

2020-05-20 19:30:26 UTC

@The_Black_Knight if a mag pouch is tight, jam the mag in, then some more shit too, then sit it in front of a heater for a few hours

2020-05-20 19:32:13 UTC

I’ve heard the chicom type 67 rigs fit the g3 mags too?

2020-05-20 19:33:54 UTC

I wouldn't know that but ak mag pouches would be pretty deep for short g3 mags , If it's an ak rig

2020-05-20 19:52:05 UTC

My bad, it’s the type 63 rig

2020-05-20 19:52:43 UTC

From doing some looking they were designed for 20rd ak mags or something like that, so they sound like they’re a pretty good fit

2020-05-20 19:53:06 UTC

But the Rhodesian reproduction rigs are designed for g3/FAL mags

2020-05-20 20:06:27 UTC

any easy to do at home suggestions for searing my steaks automatically? Want a good char

2020-05-20 20:13:41 UTC

Unnecessary

2020-05-20 20:13:54 UTC

A normal steak will serve you just as well

2020-05-20 20:14:27 UTC

I find sears to be preferable for larger options, if not then it’s not doing you much good

2020-05-20 20:21:43 UTC

That subject is uncomfortably twisty

2020-05-20 20:27:09 UTC

I’m with @kalebdenden though, only specific steaks should be seared, it’s usually excessive and unneeded

2020-05-20 20:33:12 UTC

While everyone should have the option to sear their steaks, they should be careful. The carcinogens can harm your dog if you're not careful.

2020-05-20 20:34:48 UTC

Searing steaks is great indoors or on a grill with two legs to hold up the business end of the grill

2020-05-20 20:35:29 UTC

Dont let these vegans tell you otherwise

2020-05-20 20:42:04 UTC

Some of the old timers will say you don't need those fancy gas operated propane grills, that a manual fire is the only way to do it. They'd be wrong though.

2020-05-20 20:43:06 UTC

Why the hell are Anderson 80% lowers $45 and Tactical Machining ones $35? Tactical Machining has better QC. Lol

2020-05-20 20:52:19 UTC

I wouldn't really trust either

2020-05-20 21:13:31 UTC

@Artemis What 80% lowers do you trust?

2020-05-20 21:13:49 UTC

Can anyone suggest good-high quality BUDGET fixed blades?

2020-05-20 21:13:49 UTC

Oh I didn't realize you were talking about 80%

2020-05-20 21:14:00 UTC

> Can anyone suggest good-high quality BUDGET fixed blades?
@Abe Clark M O R A

2020-05-20 21:14:40 UTC

I love my Schrade blade. I abused the shit out of it. Good budget survival knife.

2020-05-20 21:15:41 UTC

@Abe Clark define budget

2020-05-20 21:15:53 UTC

And philosophy of use

2020-05-20 21:15:53 UTC

I got it when it was like $50 a couple years ago. It's more like $70 now.

2020-05-20 21:16:26 UTC

If it's under 100, probably the KA-BAR Becker "campanion." Unlike the Mora, it has a full tang
