2020-05-25 04:25:49 UTC

@Anonymoose don’t tell me...a hand model?

2020-05-25 04:26:09 UTC

2020-05-25 04:27:24 UTC

🤨

2020-05-25 04:28:11 UTC

🤷‍♂️

2020-05-25 04:28:30 UTC

Zoolander reference

2020-05-25 04:35:36 UTC

Who says they can't be a model

2020-05-25 04:35:43 UTC

It's the current year

2020-05-25 04:36:08 UTC

If anyone makes fun of you accuse them of fat shaming...

2020-05-25 04:38:57 UTC

I may do a glamour shot of me in the shirt. May or may not have anything else on. That's just a change you'll have to take lol

2020-05-25 04:40:48 UTC

I'll take those chances

2020-05-25 06:00:14 UTC

Think there would be a market for middle-manning 80% lowers? Buyer would pay me cash, I place the order and use my credit card and address. Then your info ain't on that company's sales records.

2020-05-25 06:02:29 UTC

In this political climate, it's a good shot. I'm sure the company would understand the need for your bulk orders

2020-05-25 06:30:15 UTC

@Potatoes O'Reilly I see no issue with that but im not a lawyer. I can see a market if you were able to facilitate finishing them. By that I mean you get them in touch with someone who has the tools and equipment.
Just be aware anything like that is going to be of great interest to the bois of fed

2020-05-25 06:37:15 UTC

@John Public ATF declared sharing tools to finish those lowers illegal some years back. Workaround is to sell the tools back and forth.

2020-05-25 06:56:48 UTC

On that note, anyone willing to temporarily sell some equipment for a buck?

2020-05-25 07:00:50 UTC

Actually @Potatoes O'Reilly, if you're doing bulk orders like that, you can let them come use your equipment by paying you, say, 21 bucks to purchase your equipment and then you pay them a buck to get your equipment back. Totals out for a nice $20 to let someone use your equipment

2020-05-25 07:01:16 UTC

It's just a rough idea, but it's a start

2020-05-25 07:20:25 UTC

@goofy_murican Yeah it's something I had actually thought about doing with a GhostGunner CNC machine. Write up a bill of sale with a $50 non-refundable deposit and an option to return it. The $50 would be for maintenance such as new bits.

2020-05-25 07:20:52 UTC

Indeed

2020-05-25 08:02:13 UTC

> I got it and MAN does it look good. Maybe we should work out a bulk ordering deal for a discount. Hand them out at meets
@John Public

Fifty items sold per month is the threshold when my wholesale cost decreases a little. And only by $1.

2020-05-25 08:42:21 UTC

Fuck. I need to go to bed

2020-05-25 08:43:14 UTC

But now I'm locked in an argument with someone who's saying only vets are American citizens

Morning gentlemen.
And ladies
*tips internet hat*

2020-05-25 11:56:32 UTC

@Potatoes O'Reilly I was thinking more along the lines of getting people in touch who had the tools and knowledge for an "arts and craft" class.
Lmao*winks in fuck the gubmint*

2020-05-25 12:03:29 UTC

I do want to be very clear for *everyone* here.
I am not offering advice of a legal nature. Simply saying that I'm sure plenty of hobbiests would benefit from being introduced to one another. Im sure everyone here knows that we in no way condone, endorse or encourage the violating of any local, state, federal or tribal law as applicable.

2020-05-25 12:07:42 UTC

Thats said, I recall a case where a guy with a manufacturing license had in fact done this. He opened his shop to people who had an interest in "learning the trade" and charged a nominal fee to "practice" finishing the lowers. I think it lead to some rule changes by those most logical and very much liberty minded agencies of our most cherished federal government. But again, all ideas. Just spitballin things into an electronic void while I'm in my boxers lmao😂

2020-05-25 12:35:51 UTC

I love how I just finally understood what the he'll was going on with doxxing Granite.
I'm on slowmode today😂😂
