@🍄The Mad Philosopher🍄 Say we got rid of the police, yes jail numbers would go down, private prison corporations would make a loss, prison and police and psychiatric jobs would be lost, a lot fewer people would be shot or arrested on rediculous charges, but then a small number of highly skilled criminals would get away with their crimes as a result. Meanwhile the large criminal corporations who have paid off the government(s) to legalize their immorral crimes would still continue to get away with things paying for private security instead of the police to protect them against angry customers.

Just because the police can't stop someone from killing you in your own home doesn't mean we don't need the police. The police can't teleport to yours or anyone's house, no one can do that. The police server a bigger purpose than immediate teleportation
