Its only within the past decade that us military started training with acogs and red dots, theyve always used iron sights for decades. Your better off getting good with irons and unless its just a range toy your going to be sorry if you rely on tech to save you in a life or death or shtf situation

But i still will always preach the importance of getting proficient with iron sights and co witnessing if you want to step it up from there
