Its only within the past decade that us military started training with acogs and red dots, theyve always used iron sights for decades. Your better off getting good with irons and unless its just a range toy your going to be sorry if you rely on tech to save you in a life or death or shtf situation

And also scopes are for a secondary rifle for specialized use, not your primary rifle

You should practice with irons until you can hit a torso sized object at 500m consistently
