The Nazis actually allowed Geneva Convention inspectors to walk freely among the work camps in Poland, and it was said that they had seen no evidence of intentional mistreatment among the prisoners who had access to medical facilities and many sports activities. There was of course starvation towards the end of the war in the camps due to low rations among prisoners and guards. Many in the Reich believed that this could have been avoided had the allies accepted the multiple proposals made to deport Jews and other people unwanted by the state to their countries.

How about having relatives who were in one of the *death* camps, and living in the country and seeing one of these places up close? You fail to mention how the Nazis made a concerted effort to keep the existence of these camps a secret, and that the killings were increased nearer to the end of the war. Along with someone who worked for the World Jewish Congress, Gerhart Reigner, notifying the allies in 1942 that the Nazis were indeed planning on killing off people in these camps, nor was this man the first person to do so.

Why we're there piles of valuables taken from their prisoners? Why we're there piles of things including shoes, fake teeth, and prosthetic limbs?
