Guess I can seize this chance and free Wales from English oppression

2020-01-23 21:46:08 UTC

see you limeys in hell

2020-01-23 21:46:33 UTC

What the fuck are we gonna do with all these refugees?

2020-01-23 21:46:37 UTC

Except that Wales also voted to Leave along with England and Plaid Cymru didn't gain votes this election (despite having less competition) @Deleted User

2020-01-23 21:46:57 UTC

You’ve got pakis on every street corner beggin for money

2020-01-23 21:48:01 UTC

Economy is fucked

2020-01-24 02:44:55 UTC

And...the bromance is over apparently. xD

2020-01-24 02:47:32 UTC

```The UK's international trade secretary, Liz Truss, was also bullish on the issue, saying on Thursday that the UK's policy was "not a matter for the US," "not a matter for the EU," and "not a matter for anybody else."``` Sounds a bit overconfident there, given no one wants to give a deal but China, as the EU has pressured the others into doing a deal with them first.
2020-01-24 02:48:59 UTC
This will be hilarious though, if it happens:
2020-01-24 02:49:24 UTC
```Threats of a new trade war could escalate if the UK government pushes ahead with its plan to defy Trump and strike a deal with Huawei, the Chinese telecoms company building a 5G network.``` Because we'll get a BoJo Trump tweet storm.

2020-01-24 02:59:53 UTC

And the EU wants to punish/sideline the UK with a weaker trade deal apparently.

2020-01-24 06:27:58 UTC

@NewRogernomics The EU has also said that it would not accept any divorce deal that didn't give Spain power over Gibraltar

2020-01-24 15:42:14 UTC

@TheBritishGamer ❤🔑 (Meh) Doesn't mean they can't change their minds. Though right now this is their alleged policy. 😉

2020-01-24 15:55:19 UTC

@NewRogernomics All I'm saying is take their plans with a pinch of salt

2020-01-25 14:23:03 UTC

***6 DAYS LEFT***

2020-01-26 00:36:22 UTC

brexit means brexit

2020-01-26 06:01:07 UTC

More like a whole year.

2020-01-26 06:01:38 UTC

The transition period lasts till the end of this year.

2020-01-26 08:47:58 UTC

Yes because if you would take the country out instantly, economic disaster will occur

2020-01-26 10:06:54 UTC

It can't possibly go right with the Tory's at the helm.

2020-01-26 12:15:00 UTC

let’s just see

2020-01-26 12:15:13 UTC

My country will most likely benefit from the brexit

2020-01-27 10:40:19 UTC

Bruh

2020-01-27 10:40:29 UTC

Ofcourse they are reliant on cheap labour

2020-01-27 10:40:47 UTC

A business will maximize it’s profits

2020-01-27 17:33:50 UTC

More reason to leave. Less use of cheap labour from Eastern European immigrants

2020-01-27 17:46:13 UTC

Most western countries struggle with the their populations becoming more and more old. Which means less workers.

2020-01-27 17:46:29 UTC

Which means they need immigrants to keep this on a good level

2020-01-27 17:58:44 UTC

Supply and demand. Don't you like capitalism? Natives don't want to do (or cannot do - like Stresbal pointed out with age) many jobs

2020-01-27 17:59:19 UTC

The “don’t want to do” part is also very important

2020-01-27 17:59:35 UTC

Since the jobs “cheap” workers get are mostly on the farmland and in factories

2020-01-27 18:00:00 UTC

Jobs which lots of natives wouldn’t apply for

2020-01-27 19:53:36 UTC

@D7V1D Depends, what are you measuring when comparing England to UK,EU globally etc, economically i bet you. Culture,influence has been made global through the colonies and is still active today, eventhough it's lost the empire, UK/France battle eachother for no.1 soft power globally

2020-01-27 20:01:53 UTC

@Dr.Cosby Just because Brexit means we pull out of the schengen agreement, doesn't mean we won't take in migrant workers. We just want to adopt a controlled system letting in skilled workers for jobs that are wanting to be filled. Australia as a prime example of the envied system. Australia eventhough isn't part of a freemovement deal in a union still imports more migrant workers (2x more than USA) and the largest of all OECD countries with populations over 20million

2020-01-27 20:13:19 UTC

@Stresbal forgot to tag you too

2020-01-27 20:48:27 UTC

But the biggest argument that people voted yes for is immigration
