Guess I can seize this chance and free Wales from English oppression
see you limeys in hell
What the fuck are we gonna do with all these refugees?
Except that Wales also voted to Leave along with England and Plaid Cymru didn't gain votes this election (despite having less competition) @Deleted User
You’ve got pakis on every street corner beggin for money
Economy is fucked
And...the bromance is over apparently. xD
```The UK's international trade secretary, Liz Truss, was also bullish on the issue, saying on Thursday that the UK's policy was "not a matter for the US," "not a matter for the EU," and "not a matter for anybody else."``` Sounds a bit overconfident there, given no one wants to give a deal but China, as the EU has pressured the others into doing a deal with them first.
This will be hilarious though, if it happens:
```Threats of a new trade war could escalate if the UK government pushes ahead with its plan to defy Trump and strike a deal with Huawei, the Chinese telecoms company building a 5G network.``` Because we'll get a BoJo Trump tweet storm.
And the EU wants to punish/sideline the UK with a weaker trade deal apparently.
@NewRogernomics The EU has also said that it would not accept any divorce deal that didn't give Spain power over Gibraltar
@TheBritishGamer ❤🔑 (Meh) Doesn't mean they can't change their minds. Though right now this is their alleged policy. 😉
@NewRogernomics All I'm saying is take their plans with a pinch of salt
***6 DAYS LEFT***
brexit means brexit
More like a whole year.
The transition period lasts till the end of this year.
It can't possibly go right with the Tory's at the helm.
let’s just see
My country will most likely benefit from the brexit
Bruh
Ofcourse they are reliant on cheap labour
A business will maximize it’s profits
More reason to leave. Less use of cheap labour from Eastern European immigrants
Most western countries struggle with the their populations becoming more and more old. Which means less workers.
Which means they need immigrants to keep this on a good level
Supply and demand. Don't you like capitalism? Natives don't want to do (or cannot do - like Stresbal pointed out with age) many jobs
The “don’t want to do” part is also very important
Since the jobs “cheap” workers get are mostly on the farmland and in factories
Jobs which lots of natives wouldn’t apply for
@D7V1D Depends, what are you measuring when comparing England to UK,EU globally etc, economically i bet you. Culture,influence has been made global through the colonies and is still active today, eventhough it's lost the empire, UK/France battle eachother for no.1 soft power globally
@Dr.Cosby Just because Brexit means we pull out of the schengen agreement, doesn't mean we won't take in migrant workers. We just want to adopt a controlled system letting in skilled workers for jobs that are wanting to be filled. Australia as a prime example of the envied system. Australia eventhough isn't part of a freemovement deal in a union still imports more migrant workers (2x more than USA) and the largest of all OECD countries with populations over 20million
But the biggest argument that people voted yes for is immigration
