@Cobra Commander Acid attacks was popular couple years back, i feel as if americans think that it still happens frequently, however you just don't hear about it anymore. Mainly because stores don't sell the chemical acid because of those attacks. However stabbing is still a thing, this is because of the austerity that hit police numbers. There is a direct correlation between the number of police and rate of stabbing/murders in the UK

@Sh0t Why would the influx of EU members moving affect the value of the Euro

@Deleted User How is 'remaining' destroying democracy?

How is 'remaining' destroying democracy?
You seem pretty biased and assured that your belief is absolute which is amusing, SNP party popularity is decreasing as of 2017, where 2015 was their spike in vote turnout/ seats. They have decreased in seats (by 21) and their swing has decreased 13.1%, lets take a look at labour (Devolved nations favoured 'English' party) Increase in seat change as well as popularity.

2019-11-14 16:59:02 UTC [NEWS and POLITICS #brexit]

Scotland's deficit is huge in proportion to average deficit in the UK, Scotland is 'worse performing small country' in Western Europe, i struggle to see how they would survive on their own. Even Nicola Sturgeon herself said that they should get a trial run. Basically to go independent and if it doesn't work out, rejoin the UK LOL. Scotland currently contributed 58.6 billion to the UK and the public spenditure is 59 billion (ยฃ)

2019-11-14 17:02:58 UTC [NEWS and POLITICS #brexit]

Here is a stat for scottish, British government gives ยฃ2600 more per capita to people in scotland than English.

2019-11-14 17:04:38 UTC [NEWS and POLITICS #brexit]

Plus what's the point anyway, England is dominant in the UK and a big english bill would just have a knock on effect in devolved nations in the UK including NI and Scotland..

2019-11-14 17:09:25 UTC [NEWS and POLITICS #race-issues]

That's partly true however, i live in a extreme multicural society, lots of people around me are accepting of that and are open to immigration freedom. I don't believe so however i have a personal opinion that hasn't stemmed from anyone elses opinion apart from it rooting from my level of education that has allowed me to adapt my own personal opinion via learning the pros and cons of different situations.

2019-11-14 17:12:53 UTC [NEWS and POLITICS #brexit]

They did by 55%, however the biggest arguement is that this was before brexit referendum. i forgot the stat of how many voted to stay in the EU but it was over 60% and the arguement is that they didn't see brexit coming so if they had a scottish referendum the outcome would be different due to Brexit incoming

Yeah you're right on those aspects cobra

Our current government has promised to increase the amount of police in the UK to counteract crime but this isn't implemented yet and i do very much think that the EU should be not letting in all immigrants. In my opinion the best way to go about this situation is to only import skilled workers like the Australian system.

2019-11-14 17:59:19 UTC [NEWS and POLITICS #race-issues]

partly to retain white majority to be conservative in that aspect

Ngl i've never ever heard of those statements as a brit

2019-11-29 00:01:07 UTC [NEWS and POLITICS #brexit]

I think brexit is catastrophic as a remainer, UK is at an all time debt post brexit and economists suggest the best way to kickstart is to loan money to reinvest into the economy to pay back in the long term since it is the government paying it back. London could potentially lose its global financial dominance with 300 firms already moved into europe > Primarily Frankfurt. Estimations have been ยฃ100 billion damage in the economy further plummeting our financial situation and on top of this the scottish independence further pushes down the GDP ยฃ200+ billion (although u could argue having less expenditure on scotland would save SOME money) I haven't even mentioned about northern ireland which would most likely join Ireland again. With the rise of China and India and other various emerging economies (indonesia) the UK just simply won't be able to keep up as a global influencer/power. Currently the EU is the 2nd largest economy behind USA totalling 18 trillion with stable bold projects to project itself out there. E.g - Galileo the satelite system specifically designed to counter USA GPS, a more accurate version. I don't think some people understand how important global trade is.. i study Human geography ontop of Politics and 1/3 of the global economy is via the flow of commodities or in other words products/ materials via trade.

2019-11-29 00:03:17 UTC [NEWS and POLITICS #brexit]

Not to mention the EU is the largest trade bloc in the world. - This is my point of view in Brexit, i tend to think on a global scale rather than locally.

2019-11-29 11:27:05 UTC [NEWS and POLITICS #brexit]
