Which had their own terrorist group (ETA)
Basque is actually part in Spain and part in France
So they have an even lesser change of becoming independent

@TheBritishGamer ❤🔑 (Meh) Spain wouldn't care, we already spoke about this. Did they block Latvia, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Croatia?
That was a different, more stable Government which didn't have to fear a far-right party like Vox jumping onto it
They would be asked why are they anti-Scottish but not anti-Latvian, anti-Czech etc.
Yes, because it's not like Spain has contradicted itself on many occations *Sarcasm*
Spain wouldn’t care for Catalonia leaving??
Catalonia is one of the richest regions of the country
I think they care
That's not what D7VID is saying
Oh sorry
@TheBritishGamer ❤🔑 (Meh) Thoughts?
I kinda think immigration concerns might sink it.
Because CER is already strained between Australia and NZ over criminals, and NZ has just below 5 million people.
As for labour...I'd disagree in that, as you'd end up with an exodus of builders/tradespeople to Australia and to a much lesser extent NZ, as wages are higher and employment laws are better.
Plus that happens already.

How will UK do noe when they ain't in EU
Won't things go reallt bad for them
No
They will prosper
Tell me how?
can anyone think of any country that has weakened its connections to global trade and prospered? There are plenty of examples of the opposite
GG @abby_ella, you just advanced to level 1!
Exactly
China prospers when they openend up the country
Altho the most likely scenario will be: That a deal will be negotiated which will likely look similar to the one we had when they were in the EU
So no tariffs most likely
The brits really want all the good stuff but not having to handle with the downsides
And cargo will most likely take longer to move from the EU to Britain
in the long term Britain aims to be a western singapore
and will be able to maintain their national heritage
@Stresbal It will be a race to the bottom in wages and workers rights. Brexiteers are living in denial if they think there won't be a decade of hardships like every other nation that went cold Turkey to its largest market. Though they want to be the ones making all the mistakes instead of EU bureaucrats, by having a bloated UK bureaucracy do it instead.
