Which had their own terrorist group (ETA)

2020-02-02 21:03:45 UTC

Basque is actually part in Spain and part in France

2020-02-02 21:04:03 UTC

So they have an even lesser change of becoming independent

2020-02-02 21:04:11 UTC

@TheBritishGamer ❤🔑 (Meh) Spain wouldn't care, we already spoke about this. Did they block Latvia, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Croatia?

2020-02-02 21:56:41 UTC

That was a different, more stable Government which didn't have to fear a far-right party like Vox jumping onto it

2020-02-02 21:57:37 UTC

They would be asked why are they anti-Scottish but not anti-Latvian, anti-Czech etc.

2020-02-02 21:58:26 UTC

Yes, because it's not like Spain has contradicted itself on many occations *Sarcasm*

2020-02-02 21:58:29 UTC

Spain wouldn’t care for Catalonia leaving??

2020-02-02 21:59:16 UTC

Catalonia is one of the richest regions of the country

2020-02-02 21:59:22 UTC

I think they care

2020-02-02 21:59:38 UTC

That's not what D7VID is saying

2020-02-02 21:59:38 UTC

@Stresbal We are speaking about Scotland. Not Catalonia

2020-02-02 21:59:43 UTC

Oh sorry

2020-02-02 23:03:49 UTC
2020-02-02 23:04:21 UTC

I kinda think immigration concerns might sink it.

2020-02-02 23:05:33 UTC

Because CER is already strained between Australia and NZ over criminals, and NZ has just below 5 million people.

2020-02-02 23:08:51 UTC

As for labour...I'd disagree in that, as you'd end up with an exodus of builders/tradespeople to Australia and to a much lesser extent NZ, as wages are higher and employment laws are better.

2020-02-02 23:09:14 UTC

Plus that happens already.

2020-02-03 00:55:50 UTC

Canada will join the North American Union with America and Mexico.

2020-02-03 00:55:50 UTC

GG @D7V1D, you just advanced to level 3!

2020-02-03 02:29:23 UTC

This chat is now nonexistent

2020-02-03 10:03:09 UTC

How will UK do noe when they ain't in EU

2020-02-03 10:03:18 UTC

Won't things go reallt bad for them

2020-02-03 19:03:09 UTC

No

2020-02-03 19:03:14 UTC

They will prosper

2020-02-03 19:50:29 UTC

Tell me how?

2020-02-03 20:13:56 UTC

can anyone think of any country that has weakened its connections to global trade and prospered? There are plenty of examples of the opposite

2020-02-03 20:13:56 UTC

GG @abby_ella, you just advanced to level 1!

2020-02-03 20:15:00 UTC

Exactly

2020-02-03 20:15:15 UTC

China prospers when they openend up the country

2020-02-03 20:17:34 UTC

Altho the most likely scenario will be: That a deal will be negotiated which will likely look similar to the one we had when they were in the EU

2020-02-03 20:17:40 UTC

So no tariffs most likely

2020-02-03 20:18:32 UTC

The brits really want all the good stuff but not having to handle with the downsides

2020-02-03 20:20:07 UTC

And cargo will most likely take longer to move from the EU to Britain

2020-02-03 20:23:29 UTC

in the long term Britain aims to be a western singapore

2020-02-03 20:23:29 UTC

GG @AlphaUK, you just advanced to level 8!

2020-02-03 22:56:56 UTC

@Stresbal They wont be limited by globalization

2020-02-03 22:57:07 UTC

and will be able to maintain their national heritage

2020-02-04 01:13:41 UTC

@Stresbal It will be a race to the bottom in wages and workers rights. Brexiteers are living in denial if they think there won't be a decade of hardships like every other nation that went cold Turkey to its largest market. Though they want to be the ones making all the mistakes instead of EU bureaucrats, by having a bloated UK bureaucracy do it instead.
